An Act Of Betrayal

The action in the Beyond the Gates spoilers preview video for the week of March 10 opens with a frightening sight. Psychiatrist Nicole is talking with a woman when things quickly go south and she looks like she’s about to jump off a building. “Sherry, no!” screams Nicole. But all is not as it seems of course because as viewers know, “Sherry” is really Leslie (well, Dana if we’re going to be specific), who is just messing with Ted’s wife. Not surprisingly, a very protective Ted later says to her, “Leave my wife the hell alone, because if you ever come for my wife again, I will destroy you.”

The next thing we see is cuffs being put on a pair of wrists. But those wrists don’t belong to Leslie! They belong to a member of the Dupree family. “Dani, no one can take your dignity,” we hear Vernon say as his daughter faces being arrested and processed by her own son-in-law, Jacob.

“Oh my God, wait,” announces new nurse Ashley upon seeing her firefighter boyfriend, Derek, wheeled into the hospital on a gurney. She wants to catch up to him and see what in the world is going on that has brought him to her place of work in this condition. “Derek,” she cries out, trying to stop the first responders from taking him away.

Next up, Vernon confronts his grandson. Martin is dressed in a tux and stops to hear what his influential and powerful grandfather has to say. “So you’re a congressman who’s itching to blow up — by that I mean run for president. Have you lost your ever-loving mind?” Vernon questions him. Martin tries to stand his ground.

Elsewhere, Nicole and Ted are dressed for her big moment when she will get an award. They look stunning but trouble is brewing. Leslie is dressed like a caterer. Eva warns her mother, “You need to get out of here before it’s too late.” Leslie doesn’t care and whips back with a sinister smile, “Leave me alone, Little Miss Big Shot, I’ve got drinks to serve.”
