Holden went to Al’s to meet Lucinda, who explained that Jessica has asked for a continuance in cowboy Les’s trial, which will keep Keith in Oakdale (and near Lily) longer than expected. This news was finally enough to drive Holden to do something and he took off to find his wife. Meanwhile, Keith told Lily how he had screwed up everything in his life by the time he met her, and he was hoping for fresh start, so he lied about his past and he doesn’t deserve someone “perfect” like Princess Lily. She ate it up and pulled him into a passionate kiss. He then invited her to get out of Oakdale with him for awhile and she agreed, on the condition that he was done lying. Lily even defended Keith when Holden showed up to run him out of town. Holden broke the news about cowboy Les’s trial. Keith started his usual freak-out, but Lily was there to cut him off early. “Whether Les goes to trial or not, he will pay,” she assured him. That’s a weird promise, even for Oakdale royalty. Leaving Lily and Holden to argue, a frustrated Keith confronted Tom about the continuance, demanding to know what additional proof he could use (almost as though he was putting together a list). Cowboy Les himself, still hanging out at his own leisure (although at least wearing cuffs) in the interrogation room/criminal’s lounge, took the opportunity to mock Keith, saying everyone would soon find out that he framed him. He was rewarded with some agressive finger-poking and a cryptic warning from Keith. Back at the house, Lily then told Holden she’s going away with her new boyfriend and there’s nothing he can do about it. So there!… Katie explained everything to Jennifer, but before she could cancel the party, all the guests arrived. After dramatically announcing that she had an announcement, Katie started to send everyone home, but Jen stopped her and thanked them all for coming. As the party swung into gear, Barbara was really managing her family time well: she revealed that she’d already blabbed to the press about Jen’s wedding (“I’ve been waiting for this day since before you were born,” she told her daughter creepily); made Will uncomfortable about bringing a date to the wedding; condescended to Hal about his suit for the big day; and even got a chance to nag Paul about his love life….
Emily encouraged Paul to date again, too, but he claimed that “there are some people in this world who are meant to love and be loved, and there are some that aren’t. I’m in group B. I like it there. It’s quiet; there’s no hassles.” He then gave a touching speech in honor of his sister and her husband-to-be….
Hal congratulated his daughter, but cheerfully asked that she make him the father of the bride before he became a granddad….
Kim and Bob commented on how they had never seen Jen look happier….
Paul gushed about how Katie had obsessively planned the whole party, making Jennifer feel more guilty. Mike offered to talk to Katie on behalf of the couple….
Nancy asked Alison how Aaron is; Will overheard and looked uncomfortable, so Em questioned him, putting the teen in an even fouler mood (we guess he never got that beer yesterday). Will then stomped about, pouting about how no one in his family ever tells him anything. Jen finally sat him down and explained the mess that is her life thanks to Craig, but how everything’s just perfect now. One question: is it a coincidence that this all took place on Friday the 13th?… Anyway, Mike whisked Katie away (which Babs noted disapprovingly) to his house to choose a picture to finally complete her collage, which also gave them a chance to discuss what could have been between them. He confessed that he still loves her, too, and probably always will. They decided that the were lucky enough to “love someone enough to let them go, and still keep loving them,” according to him. Sure, that sounds like closure. Just keep telling yourself that, Mike….
Also not convinced that it’s all over between Katie and Mike, Barbara took the opportunity to needle Henry about it. Nancy urged her to back off (in her kindly Nancy way), but Babs later delivered a not-so-subtle threat to Katie to stay away from her soon-to-be-son-in-law. At home, Jennifer and Mike were back in their cozy Bubble of Denial when the baby kicked, perhaps instinctively knowing that his/her father was on the other side of the world kicking a little butt himself….
It was one night in Bangkok as a hardly-humbled Craig strolled into a casino in a swanky coat and hat, Stenbeck-style, and soon cleaned up at the poker table. He was asking his host, Q, to arrange purchase of a passport when he heard Rosanna shrieking in a room adjacent to the casino. “I haven’t heard a ruckus like that since my most recent former wife,” Craig smirked to Q, who admitted that the mystery woman was becoming quite “unmanageable” but made it clear that she should be no concern of Craig’s. They then beat a metaphor about how women are like unbroken horses to death and Craig asked to talk to the captive, but Q was having none of it. After briefly confirming that it was, indeed Rosanna, in the room (turning down a meal of what looked like Carmen Miranda’s hat), Craig decided to stick around for a few more hands.

With a pair of scissors in her hands for Dial M For Murder-style protection, Carly got ready to attack cowboy Les at the Street Jeans office. But her “stalker” turned out to be an equally terrified, mop-wielding janitor. After they cleared up the misunderstanding, he promised to bang his mop along the wall so as not to startle her again. That’s when Jack got there and learned that she took the job; he was worried that she’s still a little shaky about Les. She insisted that that’s what work was for — to take her mind off of the anxiety. He still didn’t think it was a good idea, especially when he found out that Jen wasn’t too keen on having a partner at first. A flirty Carly commenced convincing him. “I can take her in a fair fight, even faster in a dirty one,” she winked, and in no time, her G-man melted and agreed to support her revived career….
Keith was doing a little kung fu of his own to save Lily from the man who attacked her, until Lucinda showed up and announced that he’s the private detective that she hired. He was a bit put out by the scuffle, and huffed off rather grumpily after telling La Walsh she’d be getting a bill. “What a whiner! A lot of good he’d do in a pinch,” Lucinda muttered, before tattling to her outraged daughter that Keith is indebted to the mob for gambling. He confessed that it was true, so Lily yelled at him for a bit while Lucinda waited in the car. She returned to find her daughter in tears on the bench, and insisted that she only wants her to be safe before launching into a long lecture about how she doesn’t think of her as a child and making more excuses for why she was acting so wildly overprotective again. Lily, having heard this from her mother for years, barely said a word, then went home alone. She later walked in to the cottage to find Keith with a packed a suitcase. He said he was leaving town — tonight. Yeah whatever, Keith. We’ve heard that one before….
As Henry was bragging to Alison about his wife’s thieving abilities, Katie got caught by Mike and Jennifer, who were frankly a little creeped out that she just used her old key to sneak into their home. Katie didn’t reveal her real reason for being there (to get a photo for the party), so Jen sent Mike out of the room and asked Katie to look her in the eye and say she wasn’t in love with him. After dancing about the subject for a while, Katie admitted that she does love Mike, but she’s trying really hard not to anymore, and she’s getting closer to Henry every day. “I’m not going to turn into some clingy, resentful, awful person. That’s not me,” she swore, before leaving. Uh huh. Jen told Mike that Katie’s still in love with him. When he asked whether Katie actually used the words “in love,” she flipped out and suggested he ask her himself: “… you can talk about this endless love that just. won’t. die,” she shouted, before apologizing for being “so hormonal.” Mike cutely tip-toed through his words of support, and they decided to go out to Metro to meet Paul. That’s where Katie was, sobbing to Henry that she ruined everything and the party was off. Henry was doing his best to make her feel better (having already used his comforting skills in a sweet talk with Alison earlier) when Mike and Jennifer arrived….
Casey and his buddies were trying to balance their ballooning prom budget when one friend suggested a ’70s-vibe van instead of a limo (Perhaps he also noticed his friend’s resemblance to Shaggy from SCOOBY DOO? Maybe they can look for ghosts at the Old Mill afterward.) Casey then seemed surprised when one of the guys noted that Gwen’s band was actually good and that they should book them for the dance. No final decision was made, though — maybe they’ve got a prom committee meeting later. Gwen got fired for dumping milkshakes on the mean girls at Al’s, until Celia stepped in and claimed she caused the spill. Gwen thanked her, then mentioned her regret at how her date with Will ended. Meanwhile, the psycho teen himself was meeting up with Casey, in an alarmingly good mood, all “Ali who?” and suggesting that they get some beer and “party.” Casey was suspicious by this bubbly new Will and noted the bizarre behavior to Celia. She assured him that his friend is “more solid than you think,” then announced her plan to set up Will with Gwen. Casey stammered out his protests, but Celia wasn’t taking “bad idea” for an answer. Will was “making calls” about the beer (With an underground hooch supplier? How very roaring ’20s of him!) when Gwen showed up to apologize for her behavior. He forgave her, which made Celia more determined than ever to double date, as she invited them to “party” together. Gwen and Casey shared an awkward look as Celia obliviously announced that “this will be my first barbecue.” Wow, Montega just sounds more depressing every day.

Keith found Lily in his house and she pretended she came over so they could have a picnic (Rose’s secret recipe and everything!). She apologized for intruding, but admitted that she doesn’t think Keith is being honest with her. He said he’s going to tell her the truth and revealed he was a quiet kid and didn’t trust people. He then confessed that he’s falling in love with Lily. A stunned Lily replied that he is making her feel things that she hasn’t felt in a long time, too. While she was out of the room, Vin called Keith and demanded his money. Lily overheard Keith on the phone. Keith made up a lie to leave, grabbed Julia’s wedding ring in the drawer and took off. Lily followed him and spied Vin and Keith’s meeting when someone came up from behind her and covered her mouth….
Katie prepared a surprise engagement party (including a photo collage) at Metro for Mike and Katie, but Henry feared it was going to take more than that to make up for telling Craig about the baby. Katie told Henry that she would be okay if Jennifer and Mike walked out of her life forever. Henry spilled his drink on the photos, so Katie took off to Mike and Jennifer’s to get some more, planning to let herself in with Mike’s hidden key….
Jennifer informed Carly that Carly won’t be working at Street Jeans and that Dusty hired Carly to punish her. “I’m pregnant, not brain-dead,” hissed Jennifer. Jennifer told Carly she doesn’t trust her. Dusty showed up and said Jennifer either had to work with Carly or she was out. Jennifer replied that the business was hers and she’d be working from home the rest of the day. Jennifer came home and blasted Mike for giving Dusty the thought that she couldn’t handle her job. “That backstabbing bleach blonde is after my job,” cried Jennifer. While Mike and Jennifer hashed it out, Katie snuck into the house and Mike and Jennifer saw her. Jennifer announced that Katie must be delighted to see Jennifer and Mike fighting. Meanwhile, Carly confronted Dusty about not telling her about Jennifer’s objections. Dusty and Carly then discussed Les’s attack and how she is keeping her anxiety from Jack. After some hesitation, Carly finally accepted the job. Dusty left and a freaked-out Carly grabbed a pair of scissors when she heard something and then saw Les outside the door….
Will and Celia argued on the rooftop and she said she was going to help him. Celia urged Will to go to prom, but Will balked at the idea. Will showed up at Metro and talked to Alison, who apologized for thinking Will was the one who broke into her place. Will told her they can’t be friends and took off….
Gwen and Casey were talking at Al’s when two guys came in to discuss the prom music. Gwen tried to convince Casey to let her band play at the prom. Gwen was about to tell him about something else when Celia showed up. Gwen got back to work, and Celia suggested to Casey that they double-date with Will and his date to the prom. After Casey left, Gwen asked Celia to help her repair things with Will. Some teen girls started taunting Celia about getting dumped by Casey and being a slut. Gwen “accidentally” dumped milk shakes on them.

Dusty had a Street Jeans business meeting with Carly, who was stunned to find out Jennifer and Mike were getting married and having a baby. Carly accepted Dusty’s job offer as Jennifer arrived. Jennifer freaked when she realized Dusty hired Carly behind her back. Carly left and Dusty told Jennifer that hiring Carly is a win-win situation. “I’m a professional, she’s an opportunist,” she barked back. Dusty told Jennifer that she would have to quit if she didn’t want to work with Carly. Later when Dusty was gone, Carly came back and Jennifer told her that she wouldn’t be working at Street Jeans. Will showed up at Mike and Jennifer’s and Mike told him that he and Jen are getting married and having a baby. Mike asked him to be an usher in the wedding, then sensed something was wrong with him….
Gwen waited on Casey at Al’s and spied a reconciled Casey and Celia kissing. Gwen delivered their orange juice and shared some intense stares with Casey. Casey invited Celia to the prom but she fretted because she didn’t have anything to wear. Gwen returned to take their order when Will showed up. Gwen and Will were not happy to see each other. Gwen overheard Celia tell Will that Casey asked her to the prom. Celia was worried when a brooding Will took off. She later found Will on the roof (again) and told him to stop feeling sorry for himself….
Keith was surprised to find Vin in his house. Vin subtly threatened Lily and demanded what Keith owes him today or he’d go after everything Keith cares about. Lily remembered her date with Keith — and his later meeting with the menacing Vin outside her door. Holden showed up and apologized for his jealous behavior at Yo’s the previous night. Holden advised Lily to go slowly with Keith and she reassured him that she was. As Holden was leaving, he opened the door to Keith, who had flowers (from her garden, natch). Lily subtly pumped Keith for info about Vin. Lily later called Carly to come over and revealed to her that she wondered if she really knew Keith. Carly shared her new job news with Lily and urged Lily to lay her cards out on the table with Keith. Meanwhile at the Lakeview, Keith got his hands on some money when Holden showed up. Keith told him to stop following him. Holden took off and Keith gave Vin some of the money he owed him. Not able to trust Keith, Lily snooped around his place and found Julia’s wedding ring from Jack just as Keith came home.

Dusty, the slave driver, called and demanded that Jennifer come into work tonight. Mike showed up at Street Jeans and warned Dusty to back off. Mike informed Dusty that he’s going to have to deal with Jennifer’s life outside of the office. Mike returned home and assured Jennifer that everything was fine. Dusty left a message for Carly saying he had a proposition for her.
It was still 50s night at Yo’s, and Margo asked Danny Zuko-wannabe Casey why he wasn’t having fun. He admitted that he had a fight with Celia. Later back at home, Tom told Margo that Casey’s fight with his girlfriend had nothing to do with Margo’s past actions. Margo then talked to Casey about the give-and-take in relationships. Outside the door, Casey later left Celia a message hoping they could work things out. After he went inside, Gwen (the waitress who went on a double date with Casey, Celia and Will a couple months ago) emerged from the shadows.
Celia found Will on the rooftop’s ledge and they argued about her telling Alison that Will broke into her place. “Sometimes when you see something you don’t like you have to say something,” she cried (Oh Celia, we hear you…) Will blasted her for thinking that and later confessed to Celia that he loves Alison. Celia admitted she was wrong. Will opened up to Celia on his crazy life and why he feels so alone. Celia told Will he’s not the only person who feels alone and her happy-go-lucky attitude is all an act. Celia revealed that she and Casey got into an argument over him. Celia agreed to keep their meeting a secret and told Will to call her when he’s sad or lonely. Will told Celia that he’d talk to Casey.
Lily disrupted Keith’s argument with Vin outside of Yo’s. Vin pretended that he wanted to bum a cigarette but Lily didn’t buy it. Vin left and Lily asked Keith what was wrong. Keith said Holden was still in love with her, and he was jealous when Vin talked to her. “You’re jealous AND you have a temper. I guess that leaves us both flawed,” smiled Lily. Lily invited Keith home and they made out all hot and heavy, but then decided to take things slow. Lily remembered she saw Vin inside Yo’s and that running into him wasn’t an accident. Keith reassured her and left. Vin was waiting for him outside of Lily’s house and threatened that Keith’s relationship would be over if Lily knew what Keith did and who he was. Lily spied them talking outside and her curiosity was piqued.
Lucinda pumped Holden on his run-in with Keith and Lily. Holden told Lucinda that Keith has an explanation for everything and that she has to back off and accept that Lily and Holden are no longer a couple.
