Stephanie Sloane

Summary

Stephanie Sloane, Soap Opera Digest’s VP, Editorial Director, was born and raised in New York City and attended the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University. As a lifelong soap fan, she aimed to land a job in daytime after graduation in 1990 and wound up getting hired as assistant to the editor at SOD, the magazine she read since she was 12. Stephanie moved her way up the ranks, becoming Editor in 2000 and Editorial Director in 2011. Throughout her decades at SOD, Stephanie has interviewed the biggest stars in soaps, covered various shows for the magazine, including DAYS, GH, ALL MY CHILDREN and ANOTHER WORLD, and done multiple TV appearances on SOAP TALK and CELEBRITY PAGE, as well as appeared on CNN HEADLINE NEWS. Since 2018, she has hosted the popular podcast, Dishing With Digest, with Executive Editor Mara Levinsky, where they welcome current soap performers and popular alums.
