GENERAL HOSPITAL

Monday

At Metro Court, Kate finally had it out with Sonny about how angry she was that he chose power and revenge over her. Sonny again claimed that he infiltrated the Zaccharas to find out who shot her but Kate said his words rang false.

In the M.C. restaurant, Claudia and Anthony exchanged threats about their involvement in the respective shootings surrounding Sonny. Anthony stuck to his story about being wheelchair bound and reminded Claudia what would happen to her if Sonny ever found out about her involvement with Michael's shooting. "He'd snap your neck," reminded Anthony.

Jason got a call from Rayner ordering him to locate the missing Equinox truck. Jason said he was searching but this was not a part of their deal. Just then, Lucky showed up and stated that he's had Sam tailed, and he knows that she has been to see Jason twice. He demanded to know what was up. Jason clammed up, infuriating Lucky. When Spinelli arrived, Lucky stormed off. Jason and Spinelli had a difference of opinion when Jason continued to keep The Jackal in the dark about his dealings with the feds. "It's been handled," stated Jason. "You will need my help," Spinelli forewarned. Just then, Rayner showed up demanding a lead on the missing Equinox truck.

At the Quartermaine mansion, Nikolas arrived in honor of Emily's birthday. Of course, the Q's quibbled but they asked Nikolas to stay. Monica and Nik discussed how much they still missed Em.

At G.H., Carly voiced to Patrick that she thinks Robin is showing all the signs of postpartum depression and he needs to get her help. Patrick was at a loss on how to proceed. Carly warned Patrick that Robin will try to deny and cover it up. She then opened up about her experience with Michael.

At the house, Robin apologized to a cooing Emma that she was sorry for having difficulty with motherhood. She assured her daughter that no matter what, "Mommy loves you." Then came a knock at the door. It was Maxie. To Robin's relief, Maxie was happy to put Emma down for her nap.

Sam went to G.H. to ask Elizabeth to intervene on her behalf with Lucky and his dislike of her detective work. Liz asked why she couldn't just stop the detective work but Sam insisted that she needed to help a friend.

Kate caught Lulu chatting with Carly in the Metro Court lobby and was furious that Lulu let the Crimson calls to go to voicemail. She asked Lulu why she shouldn't just fire her and Carly piped in, "Because you can't!" Carly warned Kate to back off from her cousin. "You're so childish," Kate told her nemesis. Carly barked back, "Don't blame me because Sonny married Claudia." Carly
Then reminded Kate of her part in Michael's shooting. Kate then chided Carly for taking Sonny's kids away. When Kate asked Carly why she was so hurtful, Carly spat back the Kate was, "Irrelevant" and walked off.

A stranger, one Earl Bragg, met with a thug regarding the missing Equinox shipment. The thug had no idea what the box he was carrying contained. He held up a small, colored sphere and assured the thug the shipment would get to where it needed to go. Bragg then made a mysterious call.

Anthony went to see Sonny to ask how his vendetta against Jason was going. Sonny told his father-in-law to butt out. He told Anthony that he delayed the next shipment due to the impending blizzard. Anthony teased him, saying, "There are things you don't know about Claudia." Anthony told Sonny that his new wife is an unbalanced woman.

Lucky and Sam met at Metro Court and told each other about their respective visits. They couldn't help but chuckle at their similar modus operandi. Sam suggested they go to her place for a little "one-on-one" conversation. He smiled and they left together.

Patrick arrived home and Robin was curt with him, which made Maxie uncomfortable. When Robin left the room, Maxie just chalked it up to having a bad day but Patrick was greatly concerned. He returned to the hospital but Robin was still hostile.

Claudia came home to find Sonny putting a DVD in the player. "Stop!" she shouted.

Tuesday

Rayner continued questioning Patrick, this time about how the toxin got into the hospital's air ducts....

At the apartment, Lulu tried desperately to reach Maxie after Carly sent her home for the day, much to Kate's annoyance. Johnny came home with a present and Lulu said, "Johnny, why are you bringing me gifts when you don't have a job? He accused her of checking up on him but Lulu pointed out that he lied to her about getting the job at the hospital. Johnny was upset at his predicament and blamed his "train wreck" of a family. Johnny called his gift "stupid and pathetic but at least it's returnable." He picked up the box and left.

At Sam's, Lucky and Sam made out in the hot tub. Once they dried off and got inside, the couple started to squabble about their exes, Jason and Elizabeth. Sam pointed out that Lucky called her "Liz" right before they got naked in the hot tub. Sam said as much as Lucky has meant to her, maybe it's time for them to split. Lucky agreed that maybe they have been taking things for granted but suggested they should try and work it through. Sam asked him to go. "This doesn't have to be the end, Sam," Lucky stated before leaving.

At the penthouse, Spinelli listened in on Jason's conversation with Rayner. The fed refused to divulge what was on the truck but stressed that Equinox wants it back and now! After Rayner left, Spinelli emerged and asked, "Did you sell your soul to the Federal One?" Jason told Spinelli the best way he could help was to stay out of it. After Jason left, Spinelli made a call.

After their argument, Patrick returned to the hospital. Robin huffed to Maxie that she's "perfectly fine."

At Sonny's house, Claudia tried stopping Sonny from watching the DVD he had in his hand. She tried to pick a fight to distract him but it didn't work. Sonny popped it in and erupted, "Son of a bitch!" Claudia froze. It turned out to be a video of Sonny's kids but the audio was mangled, prompting the outburst. Claudia breathed a sigh of relief. As Sonny watched Michael on the DVD, it hit Claudia that he was preparing to give it to Carly in honor of the benefit and she acknowledged how difficult tonight was going to be for him.

At Metro Court, Kate told Olivia about seeing Claudia watching a DVD with Jerry and asked Liv to warn Sonny. Olivia balked and advised her cousin to stay out of Sonny's life.

At the hub, Matt, Liz, Epiphany and Leyla talked about how hospitals go nuts during storms. Matt was just happy that he didn't have to go to Michael's benefit. Patrick came by and told his brother to show some respect. Then, Patrick pulled Liz aside and said he needs to talk to her about Robin. Patrick told her the situation and asked if she thought he had anything to worry about.... At home, Robin listened to Emma crying on the baby monitor and squirmed. The phone rang. It was the babysitter. "Are you on your way over?" Robin asked.

Johnny returned home and apologized to Lulu. She also apologized, citing that she was just worried that she might be fired. Johnny lamented that he's unemployable. Their discussion escalated, though, when the topic of the mob came up. It was obvious that his guilt in Michael's shooting was taking its toll. Johnny said the best thing he could do for her was leave her alone.

Robin called to report the babysitter had car trouble and couldn't come. Patrick volunteered to come home. Robin sniped she didn't need a babysitter and hung up.

Spinelli met with Winifred and asked her for assistance in helping Jason. Feeling bad about her part in getting him arrested, Winifred reluctantly agreed to help. Later, Spinelli went to Jason and informed him that the missing Equinox shipment is a deadly poison. Spinelli then insisted that they work on this case together.

As the snow started to fall, Kate sneaked into Sonny's house in search of Jerry's DVD. Kate spied the DVD and took it with her. Just as she was about to sneak out, Sonny caught her.... As the snow got worse, Maxie's car skidded off the road.... Jason learned that the person behind the hijacking was named Massone.... A patient was rushed into the E.R. just as Patrick was about to go home. Matt told his brother to go and he'd take the case.

Wednesday

Today's episode again started with Patrick recounting the events of the hospital disaster to Agent Rayner. Meanwhile, Winifred was on a phone call proclaiming Spinelli a hero....

1 hour before surgery — 6 p.m.

As Spinelli hacked away on his laptop, Jason was digging up details about who bought the hijacked Equinox shipment of poison. Jason located the truck and got a description of who took the shipment, then told Spinelli he'd report it to Rayner and the rest was up to the feds. He didn't want to get any deeper. Rayner was not satisfied and insisted Jason continue until he located the missing shipment and the person who stole it. Jason reluctantly
offered up the name Sandy Masoni as the hijacker. Spinelli then came up with the idea of tracking down the buyer, then discovered that a car rental patron named Earl Bragg was in an accident and was rushed to G.H.

In the snow, Nikolas went to the Quartermaine crypt to talk to his beloved, departed Emily. He admitted he still loves her and shared all his wonderful memories of her. He also mentioned Nadine, adding that the women were similar, but Nadine was no Em. He got teary saying that he has tried to open his heart to her but he can't move on.

At Metro Court, Carly gave Olivia some last minute instructions for Michael's benefit — until Lulu interrupted to talk to her cousin about her crisis with Johnny. Carly was able to offer up some good advice on how to deal with loving a mobster.

At Casa de Corinthos, Sonny caught Kate trying to sneak out and wanted to know what she was up to. He was unaware that she'd swiped Jerry's DVD. Kate made up a story about how she'd changed her mind about going to the benefit. Kate then got emotional recalling the night Michael was shot before their
very eyes. As Sonny wondered if someone else was involved, Claudia eavesdropped and then interrupted the conversation. After Kate spilled about finding Claudia in Sonny's bedroom days earlier, he and Claudia had an argument. "If I want you in there, I'll invite you," Sonny barked to his wife. Meanwhile, Kate rushed home and watched Jerry's DVD. She was shocked to discover Claudia was the one behind Michael's shooting.

Sam went into the hospital with a possible sprained wrist and concussion after a car accident. She said it was nothing but Elizabeth insisted she get examined.

Earl Bragg, the other driver in Sam's accident, was brought in and was suffering from severe stomach pain. Matt told Patrick to go home to Robin and he'd take the case. Patrick was reluctant. Matt wanted to operate immediately but Patrick suggested they wait to get the test results back. Monica arrived and realized that Earl might go into cardiac arrest and gave the go ahead to get him into surgery.

As Carly prepared to leave for the benefit, Jax had to bow out to tend to a Hong Kong deal he was brokering with for his mother. He promised he'd be there in about an hour.

At the hospital boardroom, Carly greeted the first arrivals, Sonny and Claudia. Edward arrived next but was gruff to the parents of his incapacitated great-grandson. After Nikolas and Nadine arrived, Edward then flirted with the young nurse.

In the M.C. lobby, Jax informed Olivia that he was going to have to fly to Hong Kong to seal the deal and asked Olivia to go to G.H., tell Carly and stay with her.

After Kate watched the DVD, she changed her mind about the benefit and asked Lulu to accompany her to keep Claudia away from Sonny so she could fill him in.

After getting Earl's X-rays, Patrick grew frantic. Then, he got a call from Jason asking about Bragg. Patrick uttered the word "poison" and rushed to the O.R. He was too late. After Matt opened up the patient, the entire surgical team collapsed.

Thursday

In the O.R., after Matt opened up patient Earl Bragg, then entire surgical team collapsed. Matt tried to get people out but was too late. When anesthesiologist Andy fell, he inadvertently hit his equipment and gas was released into the room.

Jason phoned Rayner and informed him that he located Bragg. Rayner said that if Bragg ingested the poison and he's operated on, people will die.

As Emma cried, Robin tried desperately to get a babysitter, to no avail. She was so angry that she started throwing things, which upset Emma even more. Robin occupied herself with household chores, telling herself that Emma would cry herself to sleep. Later, when Emma stopped crying, Robin wondered if something was wrong with her. "I don't deserve such a beautiful baby," Robin cried.

In the boardroom, Kate arrived. Carly ordered Olivia to get rid of her. Olivia asked Kate not to make a scene but Kate accused her cousin of being disloyal. Olivia confessed that she watched Sonny kill Karpov in cold blood and she should keep Sonny out of her life at all costs. Kate accused Olivia of still having feelings for the man and ordered her to get out of her way.

At the nurse's hub, Nikolas was stunned to see a woman who looked like Emily. He hung up the phone and went to find her, but the mystery woman was gone.

Along the road, Johnny found Maxie in her car after crashing into a snow drift. He carried her into an abandoned garage. Maxie regained consciousness and Johnny told her that he was driving the other car and she nearly cut him off. Maxie got Johnny to admit he was driving too fast, then she admitted that she was, too. They told each other about their respective fights with their significant others. Maxie told Johnny he shouldn't have lied to Lulu. He agreed. Johnny found some beer outside and opened up two of them. Maxie told Johnny that he can feel safe in confiding in her.

Anthony arrived at G.H. and met Ric. He called Ric on his relationship with Claudia. Anthony mentioned that Claudia knows he can walk, that he shot Kate and his plans for Sonny. Anthony pressured Ric to fess up to blabbing but Tracy interrupted their exchange.

In the boardroom, Claudia planned to tell Sonny her suspicions about Anthony but then Carly interrupted. She asked Sonny to kick Kate out. Sonny reminded Carly that Michael's situation was not Kate's fault. Carly then spotted Ric and Anthony. Sonny asked if she wanted them out but Carly said she'll take their dirty money and do something positive with it.

Jason arrived at G.H. and put Patrick on the phone with Rayner. Afterward, Patrick donned a hazmat suit, entered the O.R. and pulled out Elizabeth. Jason was shocked to discover that she was one of the victims in the O.R. He reached Matt, who told his brother to get everyone else out first. Jason got another shock when the next victim pulled out was his mother, Monica. Andy was pulled out afterward and was pronounced dead. As Spinelli checked the hospital blueprints to find out where the O.R. air ducts went, Patrick pulled Matt out of the O.R.

After Nikolas returned to the boardroom, Nadine saw that he was distracted. Nik then spotted the woman in the beret again. Nadine noticed and asked who she was. He said he'd like to know, too. Nikolas approached the woman but it was someone else. Later, Nik confided in Lulu that he saw Emily in the hall.

Patrick showed Jason Bragg's X-rays and said one of the five spheres he had ingested had been cut. All that damage was from only one sphere. Rayner called Patrick and said that he needs to go back into Bragg's body and retrieve the other four spheres. Just then, Spinelli interrupted to say that the O.R. air duct connects to the hospital boardroom. In the boardroom, Kate approached Sonny to tell him her news about Claudia but then collapsed in his arms. Unbeknownst to anyone in the hospital, gas continued to leak into the O.R.

Friday

In the contaminated OR, a light glowed from Earl's corpse that stood to
infiltrate the entire hospital with biotoxin. Rayner ordered Jason to seal
off the board room. "What about the people inside?" Jason demanded. Patrick
explained to Rayner that Jason had gone to explain the situation to the
people in the board room. Spinelli took the phone when Patrick threw it down
and, on orders from Rayner, hacked into the hospital computer to try to
contain the biotoxin. Patrick reufsed Sam's offer to go into the board room
herself. Rayner assured Sam that he wouldn't use Spinelli's hacking against
him, in this instance.... Patrick went into the OR and sealed off the vent.
He then removed the tocis spheres from Earl's corpse and updated Rayner.

In the GH board room, Kate collapsed. Claudia thought she was faking it,
which irked Sonny. Sonny wanted Trevor out of there; Carly tried to fetch
help but the door was locked. Jason told her not to open the door. Jason
said that they had been exposed to an airborne toxin. Ric tried to get
Edward to calm down. Kate was extracted for treatment. On Claudia's
recommendation, everyone started working to try to seal off the air vent.
Anthony seemed to think that the situation was funny. Tracy was worried
about Edward. Trevor began to panic. Sonny praised Claudia for her quick
thinking in sealing the vents. Jason called Carly and gave her an update.
Anthony goaded Trevor, who collapsed. Sonny consoled Carly and tried to
assure her that they would be fine. Claudia did not like the sight of Sonny
in Carly's arms. Claudia was about to tell Sonny that Anthony shot Kate when
she collapsed.

Luke trained a weapon on the hoodlum he caught trying to steal money from
The Haunted Star. Luke ordered the chatty thief to put the money down; he
complied. The guy claimed that he was the best bartender Luke would ever
find. Luke challenged him to prove it. Luke was impressed with the
concoction he whipped up. The man introduced himself as Ethan Lovett, from
central Australia. The men got to know each other. Ethan claimed never to
have heard of Luke. Ethan called Luke's bluff about making up the outlandish
cocktail names. An increasingly wasted Luke ended up passing out. Ethan took
his gun and disabled it, then began pocketing the cash, only to be thwarted
by a very much awake Luke, who had another weapon. "Hands up, money down,"
commanded Luke.

Nikolas and Lulu discussed the woman who saw who looked exactly like Emily
(were his hallucinations returning?). They then heard about the biotoxin
from Sam and Spinelli. Nikolas confessed his feelings of guilt to Jason,
since he left Nadine in the board room in order to chase after the Emily
lookalike. As Sam and Spinelli chatted with Lulu, another medic went down.
Upon hearing this, Rayner ordered the entire hospital to be placed under
quarantine. Patrick got on the Intercom and broke the news to everyone in
the hospital. Meanwhile, someone was up to no good in the OR....

At home with the baby, Robin pleaded with Emma to eat. Her patience thinning
practically to oblivion, Robin went to get her unexpected visitor, Mac. Mac
tended to Emma, then tried to get Robin to tell him what was wrong. She
asked if Mac would stay with Emma so that she could attend the benefit. Mac
didn't want Robin driving in the blizzard. Mac got word that the hospital
was in crisis and he left. Robin assured him that she would be fine.
