B&B Addresses Distracted Driving Issue

BOLD AND BEAUTIFUL has teamed with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) to produce a public service announcement about the dangers of distracted driving. As fans know, R.J. was recently injured when Coco was texting behind the wheel. Katherine Kelly Lang (Brooke), in conjunction with “CBS Cares,” taped the PSA encouraging viewers to visit NHTSA.gov for more information on how to save lives by ending distracted driving. “Texting while driving is a serious and problematic trend that is on the rise, not just with millennials, but also with adults,” noted Executive Producer/Head Writer Bradley Bell in a statement. “We thought that the time was right to share this important story and the possible consequences distracted driving may have with our viewers.”
