Australian DAYS Finalists Arrive In Salem:
After an extensive search in Australia for an actor to play the role of Finn, a resident surgeon to be mentored by Dr. Dan, the list has been narrowed to three. Andrew Steel, Alexander Bruszt and Tom Dazell were brought to the DAYS studio in Burbank, CA to screen test opposite Arianne Zucker (Nicole). “She was very open, supportive and generous,” describes Steel. ”She said, ‘Whatever you guys do, I’m going to be running with you.’ ” Despite being up for the same part, the three enjoy a friendly rapport. “We’re competitive, but we’re also mates,” notes Dazell. “We’ve bonded over this experience for sure,” adds Bruszt. The winner will be announced soon and begins shooting his episodes before DAYS’s 50th anniversary in November.
