Y&R Wedding Preview: See The Gorgeous Portraits From Devon And Abby's Big Day

The 13,000th episode of Young and Restless airs this Wednesday, November 13, and centers around the nuptials of Abby Newman and Devon Winters. The longtime friends had gone on one date back in 2014 and decided not to take things further, and then became partners in a restaurant, Society. When Abby and her then-husband, Chance Chancellor, encountered fertility issues, Devon offered to serve as a sperm donor, resulting in a shared biological child, Dominic. Abby and Devon grew closer during a rough patch in Chance and Abby’s marriage, and they hit the sheets, dooming both her marriage and his relationship with Amanda Sinclair. After their respective splits, Devon and Abby coupled up and cohabited, then got engaged. Now, they’re poised to make things official, in an episode boasting a wide cross-section of the cast and holds the promise of big surprises. Melissa Ordway and Bryton James, who play the happy couple, pose alongside their characters' wedding cake. This is the third marriage for Abby, whose previous unions — to Ben "Stitch" Rayburn and Phillip "Chance" Chancellor IV – ended in divorce. As for Devon, he has also been married twice before, but to the same woman: the late Hilary Curtis.

The mothers of the bride and groom are present and accounted for and looking gorgeous! Eileen Davidson (l.) plays Abby's mom, Ashley, while Devon's mom is played by Chene' Lawson, reprising the role of Harmony for the special occasion.

James posed alongside two more members of his character's on-screen family: Sean Dominic, who plays his cousin, Nate, and Christel Khalil, who plays Devon's sister, Lily. Khalil herself is a recent real-life newlywed, having tied the knot with Sam Restagno in Italy in October.

The wedding is held at the newly reconstructed Newman Ranch, home to Melody Thomas Scott's Nikki and Eric Braeden's Victor. Victor and Nikki are the bride's father and stepmother.

Jack (Peter Bergman), Abby's uncle, has been going through some domestic drama of his own with wife Diane (Susan Walters) and their son, Kyle.

Melvin Robert (c.) is on hand as the officiant who conducts the wedding ceremony, Reverend Holmes. To his left is Jason Thompson, whose Billy Abbott is the uncle of the bride, as is Bergman's Jack. Both Billy and Jack are the sons of the late John Abbott, who raised Ashley as his own. (Brent Davis is her biological father.)

These Genoa City vets help make the show what it is! Kate Linder (Esther, below l.) has been with the show since 1982, the same year as Davidson and Beth Maitland (below r.) came aboard. Jess Walton (top l.) assumed the role of Jill in 1987, making the "baby" of this Y&R group Walters, who made her debut as a recast Diane in 2001, and kicked off her return stint in 2022.

Nate's date is the lovely Audra, played by Zuleyka Silver. We wonder if the fictional wedding provided Silver with any inspo for her own imminent walk down the aisle! She revealed her engagement to longtime love Nate Peterson in May.

Three stunning generations of Newman women are represented in this photo of Hayley Erin (Claire, l.), Thomas Scott and Amelia Heinle (Victoria). Claire is one of the newest additions to the family, having surfaced last year and shocking Victoria and Cole with the claim — soon verified by a DNA test — that she is the daughter they thought had died back in 1998.

The rivalry between the Abbotts and the Newmans has been roiling for years — but so, too, have the love connections that have sprung up amidst the two families. Claire, a Newman by blood, and Kyle, an Abbott by blood, are the latest example, but the bride's parents, Victor and Ashley, are perhaps the most famous one!

It wasn't that long ago that Cait Fairbanks's (Tessa, l.) and Camryn Grimes (Mariah) were celebrating their own wedding! The lovebirds said, "I do" in 2022 and have since expanded their family to include adopted daughter Aria.

Cole (pictured with his daughter, Claire) is attending the wedding on the arm of Victoria, but once upon a time, he had reason to believe he was Victor's biological child. If that had been the case, he would have been the bride's half brother, and likely not the date of the bride's half sister! Only in soaps...

Devon's mom isn't the only one who makes the special trip in to Genoa City to celebrate his nuptials: Loren Lott also returns as his half sister, Ana. Lott's previous tenure on the show was from 2018-19.
