GENERAL HOSPITAL
The Teens: Nikolas Cassadine, Emily Quartermaine, Lucky Spencer, Elizabeth Webber
The High School Years: In 1997, half-brothers Nikolas and Lucky hated each other, Emily was an outcast recovering from a drug problem, and Elizabeth was a troublemaker who was always in the shadow of her more popular sister, Sarah. Lucky agreed to go with Elizabeth — as friends — to the Valentine’s Day dance, but at the last minute found a real date in Sarah. Dejected, Elizabeth skipped the dance and went to the movies. On her way home, she stopped to sit in the park, where she was raped by an unknown assailant. On the way home from the dance, Lucky found a traumatized Elizabeth and resolved to help her. The two set out to find Elizabeth’s
rapist and eventually connected with Nikolas and Emily, who were trying to find out who was blackmailing Emily with doctored nude photos. Tom Baker, a photographer, turned out to be both Emily’s blackmailer and Elizabeth’s rapist. After Tom was arrested, the four became inseparable; Emily pined after Nikolas but he didn’t reciprocate.
Things Change: The four friends were torn apart when Lucky was presumed dead in a fire. Emily found love with Juan Santiago, then drug dealer Zander Smith, but was in a bus crash and had to leave to recuperate. Nikolas dated Gia Campbell. Elizabeth became close with the slightly older Jason Morgan.
Where Are They Now? Lucky eventually returned from the dead and married Elizabeth. Nikolas and Emily fell in love and had an epic romance that tragically ended when Emily was murdered by the Text Message Killer. Elizabeth and Nikolas had an affair, ruining their relationship with Lucky, and Lucky left town after his wife, Siobhan, was killed. Nikolas was presumed dead after being shot by his uncle, Valentin.

DAYS OF OUR LIVES
The Teens: Belle Black, Brady Black, Shawn Brady, Philip Kiriakis, Chloe Lane, Mimi Lockhart, Jan Spears
The High School Years: In 2001, Belle, the daughter of storied supercouple John and Marlena, and Shawn, son of fellow supercouple Bo and Hope, were best buds skirting around the idea of dating. Kiriakis scion Philip also liked Belle. Belle’s best friend, Mimi, was poor but didn’t want people to know. Chloe was the mysterious new girl who always wore black. Jan was Salem High’s resident bully. Belle and Shawn eventually started dating and went to the Last Blast Dance together, as did Philip and Chloe. Jan and Mimi plotted against Chloe and tried to spill pig’s blood on her à la Carrie, but Philip saved her. Meanwhile, Belle’s older brother, Brady, took a liking to Chloe after they discovered their shared love of music and singing. Jan’s bullying of Chloe escalated into the next year, where she secretly filmed Chloe in the school shower and played it at the next Last Blast Dance. Philip assumed Chloe filmed herself and dumped her. Belle, Shawn, Jan, Philip and Mimi went on a summer trip to Puerto Rico, where Jan was raped by evil Paul Mendez. Brady and Chloe fell in love.
Things Change: Chloe was diagnosed with cancer and waffled between Philip and Brady. Belle and Shawn remained in love, but Jan conspired to break them up. Mimi dated Rex but it didn’t last and she left town.
Where Are They Now? Belle and Shawn had their happily-ever-after and had a daughter, Claire, who’s now a young woman. Chloe and Brady married and left town, but came back separated. Brady is now in love with Eve Donovan, while Chloe is with Lucas Roberts. Jan hasn’t been seen or heard from since slipping into a coma in 2005. Mimi is slated to return later this year.

YOUNG & RESTLESS
The Teens: Billy Abbott, Mackenzie “Mac” Browning, Raul Guittierez, J.T. Hellstrom, Brittany Hodges, Colleen Carlton
The High School Years: In 2001, Billy was a spoiled rich boy who tried to get in with the popular crowd by bragging about his partying. After getting alcohol poisoning at a party, Billy’s friends Raul and Mac helped him. Billy, an Abbott, and Mac, the granddaughter of Katherine Chancellor, fell in love, much to the chagrin of Billy’s mother, Jill. Bad girl Brittany was dating J.T. but wanted Billy all to herself. Billy and Mac were named junior prom king and queen. Raul and Brittany performed in the school play together and discovered their feelings for each other, but Brittany wasn’t used to being with someone who was a gentleman and who wasn’t wealthy. Meanwhile, Mac’s abusive stepfather, Ralph, came to town and tried to molest her, but Billy saved her. J.T. found love with troubled Colleen Carlton, but then slept with Brittany’s mother, Anita, and split. J.T. and Colleen reunited, but broke up again when Colleen departed Genoa City.
Things Change: The teens graduated high school and spun in different directions. Billy and Mac got married in 2003, but were stunned to learn that Katherine was Jill’s biological mother, meaning they were cousins (or so they thought)! The marriage was annulled. Brittany and Raul stayed together, but Brittany became a singer/stripper at Bobby Marsino’s club and fell in love with the gangster.
Where Are They Now? Raul and Brittany are engaged and she’s a successful lawyer. Colleen was kidnapped by Patty Williams and drowned trying to escape. Billy is with Phyllis, his brother, Jack’s, ex-wife. J.T. and Mac married, but he was emotionally abusive to her and they had a messy divorce. He returned to town and reunited with former flame Victoria, but was abusive to her, then presumed dead after Nikki clocked him on the head.

ONE LIFE TO LIVE
The Teens: Starr Manning, Markko Rivera, Cole Thornhart, Langston Wilde
The High School Years: In 2006, Starr met football jock Cole and the two started dating, unaware that their parents, Todd and Marty, were mortal enemies. Cole, high on steroids, attacked Starr, leading to a massive confrontation between Todd and Marty. Starr forgave Cole and the two realized they were in love with each other. Meanwhile, Starr’s best friend, Langston, went out with film geek Markko. The four became inseparable, until Starr found out she was moving away. She and Cole made love, and she became pregnant!
Things Change: Starr and Cole raised baby Hope together (after the newborn was switched with Jessica’s dead baby) until Cole went to jail for killing Eli Clarke. Langston and Markko broke up when she cheated on him with the older Robert Ford.
Where Are They Now? Langston and Markko eventually reconciled and moved to California. Cole was presumed dead after being shot by psycho Hannah during a prison break, but survived. Starr and Cole (and Hope) drove to Port Charles and got in a car crash, which resulted in Cole and Hope’s presumed deaths. Starr dated Michael Quartermaine for a time, then moved back to California.
