In 1984, young All My Children supercouple Jenny Gardner (Kim Delaney) and Greg Nelson (Laurence Lau) tied the knot. “Do me a favor, don’t let me trip,” quipped Tad to his sister before escorting her down the aisle, where she and Greg were pronounced husband and wife by Rev. Whitney. The wedding featured the duo’s best friends, spouses Jesse and Angie, as best man and matron of honor, and a nostalgic montage of their courtship set to the romantic song “Just You And I.” At their reception, held at The Chateau, best man Jesse offered a toast to the new Mr. and Mrs. Nelson before they set off for Aspen for a well-deserved honeymoon. “You’re not just going on a trip to Colorado,” Jesse said. “You’re starting a trip that’s going to last the rest of your lives.”

In 1995 on Young and Restless, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) wed Luan Volien (Elizabeth Sung). It was a ceremony two decades in the making, as Jack had fallen in love with his bride during the Vietnam War, when he was deployed to her homeland. When the long-separated couple was reunited in 1995, Jack learned that Luan had given birth to his son, Keemo. Once renewed, their courtship was speedy, culminating in a wedding attended by such Genoa City luminaries as Katherine and Nikki. When they exchanged vows with Keemo as best man, the bride wore a traditional Vietnamese garment called an ao dai, but changed into a burgundy dress designed by Mary McFadden for the reception, which was held at the Colonnade Room.

In 1995, Kevin Collins presented Sigmund the Duck to Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) as a Valentine’s Day gift. In 2013, Herring told Soap Opera Digest, "I loved it. I'm an animal person from since I was born and I have always had chickens. There are ways to pick winged animals up so that you don't hurt them or make them try to flap their wings and luckily, I had been exposed to that. I developed an extreme affection for the duck." Herring winked to Digest in 2021, "Sigmund was the best straight man I ever worked with."

In 2012, Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and Cane Ashby (Daniel Goddard) remarried on Young and Restless in Provence, France. Neil, Sofia, Devon, Jill, Abby and Harmony were in attendance (with the groom's mother, Genevieve, showing up uninvited), and Katherine Chancellor had arranged for the beautiful estate to be used as the site of the wedding. Lily asked Neil to walk her down the aisle, Olivia gifted Lily with a hair comb that had belonged to Lily’s late mother, Drucilla, and Devon teasingly pretended to Cane that he had misplaced the rings. (The true killer was Ryan Chamberlain.) The ceremony was officiated by Drew Cain. Said Elizabeth, "I didn't know what to expect when you came into my life. I would have never guessed that you would be the one who would teach me the most important lesson I would ever learn, that love is completely, unabashedly insane. And the craziness of all of it is what makes it so beautiful. You freed my soul. And, for that, I am forever grateful." Franco said, "I just so love you. So I'm totally down for more loving and cherishing and honoring. I love you, Elizabeth Imogene Webber."
