Bold And Beautiful Stars Celebrate The Soap's 38th Anniversary

The cast and crew of Bold and Beautiful gathered at the Bel Air Country Club in Los Angeles on March 21 to mark a very special occasion: the 38th anniversary of the series, which made its debut on March 23, 1987. The show's two lone remaining original cast members, Daytime Emmy winner John McCook (Eric Forrester) and Katherine Kelly Lang (Brooke Logan), posed together. McCook told Digest in 2023 that Lang was the first person he met when he started at B&B, and she recalled auditioning for her role opposite him.

Bradley Bell, the show's executive producer and head writer (and son of the series' legendary co-creators, the late William J. Bell and Lee Philip Bell) was flanked by two of the show's powerhouse females: Naomi Matsuda (Li, l.) and Kimberlin Brown (Sheila). Brown first became a soap superstar on B&B's sister show, Young and Restless, and crossed Sheila over to B&B for the first time in 1992.

Representing the newest iteration of "Tridge" is Rebecca Budig, who joined the show last year as Taylor Hayes, and Thorsten Kaye, who has nabbed two Daytime Emmys for his portrayal of Ridge Forrester.

Don Diamont (Bill), a B&B fixture since 2009, made the scene with his beloved, wife Cindy Ambuehl, an actress turned luxury real estate agent who has guest-starred on the show over the years.

Hope has been notoriously unlucky in love, but in real life, her portrayer, Annika Noelle (who assumed the role of Brooke and Eric's daughter in 2018), is head over heels for her husband-to-be, actor John Patrick Amedori. They announced their engagement last year.

Heather Tom was bringing flower power to the red carpet. The actress, who in addition to her Daytime Emmy-winning work as Katie Logan both directs and writes for the show, first joined the B&B ranks in 2007.

A Daytime Emmy victor three times over for his portrayal of Liam Spencer, Scott Clifton had his lady love, Elle Anderson, by his side. The actor joined B&B in 2010.

Ted King, who joined the show in 2021 and won a Daytime Emmy for his work as Jack, caught up with Matsuda (who also came aboard in 2021), who plays his character's ex, and Tanner Novlan, who debuted as Jack's son, Finn, in 2020.

Lawrence Saint-Victor brought his dapper good looks to the red carpet. The actor, who is also a member of B&B's writing team, has appeared on the show as Carter since 2013.

Noelle was willing to give peace a chance alongside her on-screen son, Henry Joseph Samiri. The young actor assumed the role of Douglas Forrester in 2019.

Lang made it a family affair when she was joined by her son, Jeremy Snider. Snider originated the role of Brooke's firstborn son, Rick Forrester, and appeared on the show from 1991-95.
