de Metz is of Dutch and Caribbean descent, via father Hans and mother Robin, and has a younger brother, Brando. “I’m a first generation American; both of my parents are immigrants, and I’m the first one in my immediate family to finish college. Getting a good education was very important to my parents,” the actor recently told Digest.
