ZazAngels Benefit
It’s the time of year when all of Susan Hufford’s hard work pays off. Hufford, widow of Michael Zaslow (ex-Roger, GUIDING LIGHT; ex-David, ONE LIFE TO LIVE); ZazAngels, and Brian Dennehy are gearing up for the organization’s fifth annual benefit to find a cure for amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, or Lou Gehrig’s disease. This year’s extravaganza — “Let’s Get Lucky!: Sing For a Cure,” a star-studded ALS benefit featuring Elaine Stritch — will be held on March 8 at The Lunt-Fontanne Theater in New York City.”This is such an important show for us,” notes Hufford, who adds that this year’s honoree, Stephen B. Siegel, chairman of Global Brokerage, is a “brass ring.” She continues: “We have an opportunity to put on a wonderful show. What would mean a lot to us is that the people who can support this research at the level that we really need and deserve are there with a full house of enthusiastic people, like Michael’s fans. So, having supporters there this year is even more important. People are always so moved when they see those who have the disease that the real-estate community will never be able to forget ALS after this benefit. That’s why my whole heart is saying ‘Come, come.’ ”
Tickets begin at $100; however, Hufford is offering tickets for $25 each to the first 200 soap fans who order. For more information, log on to www.michaelzaslow.com, or call (800) 672-8857.
