Y&R’s Star Sues
Melody Thomas Scott (Nikki, Y&R) and her husband Edward Scott, a producer on B&B, have taken legal action against their homeowner's insurance company for not covering over $50,000 in damages caused by a 2010 rainstorm, reports TMZ. In their lawsuit filed with L.A. County Superior Court, the couple charge that Mid-Century Insurance turned down their claim for repairs when the company ruled that their policy did not include water damage. The Scotts are seeking to recover the money they paid out for restoring their home, plus other damages.
