Y&R Veteran Dies
Digest has learned that Carolyn Conwell (ex-Mary Williams, Y&R) passed away in November. The actress, who joined the show in 1980, hasn't been seen on screen since 2004 and turned down requests ever since to reprise her role. "Carolyn was the most effortless actress I have ever known," says Doug Davidson, who played Mary's son Paul. "She could make anything work. She never judged other actors and in the entire time I knew her, she never delivered anything but truth. She was always so positive and professional. I love her and will miss her deeply."
