Y&R To Broadcast Classic Episode
On Friday, April 3, Y&R will rebroadcast a classic episode instead of original programming. The episode, which originally aired on April 13, 1984, centered around Victor (Eric Braeden) and Nikki’s (Melody Thomas Scott) long-anticipated first wedding. The nuptials were not only a splashy, eye-popping affair (Nikki’s extravagant gown was made of 70 yards of French silk faced satin and organza, with a 10 foot train!) but also included danger in the guise of Victor’s obsessed former secretary, Eve Howard, lurking in the background for the opportunity to kill the bride. Current cast members who also appeared in the episode, which was one of Y&R’s highest-rated, include Eileen Davidson (Ashley), Tracey E. Bregman (Lauren) and Doug Davidson (Paul). Y&R will continue with new shows on the following Monday, April 6.
