At the GCAC, Michael stepped up to pay for Tom’s meal after Gina told Tom his credit had been cut off. Michael tried to make Tom leave town, but his stepfather refused, and even tried to get invited to Mikey’s wedding. Tom insisted that he had every right to stay in town. Michael’s phone rang, so he told Tom not to push him and left. Later, Tom sat at the bar talking on the phone to someone who he told he was taking things nice and easy.

Ashley came home and learned that Gitta had left. She didn’t buy that Gloria had nothing to do with it. John became physically uncomfortable and Gloria demonstrated that she had learned Gitta’s exercise techniques. In another room, Ash overheard John thank Gloria and admit he was touched by her concern for him. He asked Glo out to dinner, and left to change. Ashley came back in and told Gloria that “its only a matter of time before you mess things up again.” Just then Tom called Ashley. “So the ice queen has a lover,” Gloria commented. Ashley told her it was none of her business and left just as John came downstairs in a suit. Glo told him that Ash was going on a date, and John replied, “well that would be lovely.” (John is so cute). They decided to go to the GCAC, which she said would turn out to be an intriguing evening, just as the camera panned to Tom.

J.T. and Mac were getting seriously intimate on the couch when Paul pounded on the door. They wanted to ignore it but Paul demanded they open up. He asked J.T. to look for Daniel because “you know that crowd better than I do.”

Christine was talking to Danny on the phone when she spotted Nick who overheard that Daniel was still in Genoa City. She assured him that they were using all their resources to find Daniel, but Nick didn’t believe her…. Later Paul comforted Christine and when Michael came in they told him that they believed Daniel was still in town.

At Crimson Lights, Phyllis demanded to know where Lily was. Malcolm assured her that Lily would never run, but then Lily called him and said she couldn’t leave Daniel. Phyllis grabbed up the phone and asked to speak with Daniel, who refused to tell her where he was. Phyllis broke down into tears and told him he couldn’t run because “I can’t bear the thought of never seeing you again.” Daniel lost reception…. J.T. told Malcolm that he had spoken to all of Lily’s friends and then asked when Daniel and Lily had become friends. Malcolm and Phyllis let it slip that Daniel and Lily had been forbidden to see each other. J.T. figured out where Daniel was and took off with Mac. Malcolm made Phyllis stay and he told her that Cassie had left the hospital to tell Daniel something, but now they would never know what.

Daniel again tried to make Lily stop helping him. She was determined not to let him convince her. Then Malcolm called and told her to stay where she was…. Soon after J.T. and Mac arrived at the hideaway and discovered that no one was there, although it was obvious that Daniel had been there…. Lily called Malcolm’s voice mail and told him that everything was cool. Daniel asked how she knew Mal’s earlier call was a trap. She explained that her uncle would never have given into her so easily. She told him to duck as they heard sirens.

Nick came home and started throwing things in his house; destroying flowers and vases until he spotted something that made him stop.
