Paul inquired about Tom’s career and his past in Michigan. Ashley apologized for Paul’s interrogation, explaining that he is a PI. Tom decided to leave after the barrage of questions. Ashley thanked Tom for the necklace and he invited her out for a drink if she felt like joining him later. Back inside, Paul was upset over Tom’s interest in Ashley, and offered to investigate him for her. Over lemonade, Paul wondered if she thought of him only as a friend. She was hesitant, but they bantered adorably. She admitted that he made her happy and laugh. He finally just grabbed her and kissed her to try and rattle her. He was satisfied when she said she was rattled.
Kevin agreed to be Michael’s best man and they had a nice moment over how far they’ve come as brothers. Kev thanked Mikey for always believing him, and for being the best brother. Michael wondered if they had to hug again. Just after Kevin announced he was going to throw Mikey’s bachelor party, Tom wandered in. Kevin tried to get Tom to hit him, and said that now he would hit back. Later Tom hinted that he knew something about Gloria that could threaten her marriage to John.
At the GCAC, Nikki told Bobby about a campaign against drunk driving that she was working on in Cassie’s name. She inquired about Brittany, and Bobby replied that their marriage was over.
Esther let J.T. into the Chancellor Estate. He confessed that to Kay that Mac would need all her support right now. He admitted that Brittany’s baby was his. Kay wondered if Britt would give the baby up for adoption now. He said that Mac meant as much to him as he did to her, and he didn’t want to lose her. Kay told him it wasn’t fair to put Mac’s life on hold until he made a decision.
Mac went to Brittany’s apartment demanding to know the truth. She was devastated when Britt admitted the story was true, and railed on her for committing adultery. Mac was sick of Brittany ruining her life, especially after she finally gave her heart to someone. Britt figured out that Mac and J.T. had slept together and hoped Mac was smarter than she was and used protection…. Later, Bobby came back to the apartment, and asked if she was alone. In slow motion, they ran to each other and kissed passionately.
