As Lily left frantic messages for Daniel, he was at the GCAC pool where Kevin introduced him to Scott. At the Winterses apartment, Sierra came by with Devon to wish her friend farewell. Sierra left and Devon, Neil and Drucilla shared a teary group hug. Lily wanted to stick around longer so she could say good-bye to Daniel, but Dru refused. Afterward, Lily and Neil had an emotional, private moment. She apologized for the trouble she’d caused; he urged her to do well in school and assured her of his love and support. After Lily left with Dru, Daniel showed up at the apartment and asked Neil to let him speak to Lily. Neil informed Daniel that she was being sent to boarding school and ordered him not to contact her.
Back at GCAC a disguised Sheila, who secretly observed Scott, got to know Tom and they bonded over their desire to take down their enemies. After Kevin spotted his dad and blasted him, Tom told Sheila it was nice meeting her and left because he had something to do.
Michael and Gloria argued over his determination to tell John the truth about Tom’s blackmail. Gloria feared that she’d lose her husband for good. After Michael left to take a call, Gloria had a daydream about herself poor and bedraggled in the park. In the daydream, John came along and called her the biggest mistake he ever made as she begged for forgiveness. Back in reality, Kevin returned to the room and told Gloria she would survive.
In the park, Devon’s mom begged her dealer for more drugs. Sierra and Devon came looking for her and didn’t see that she was passed out under some nearby bushes. After checking the shelter, they returned to the park where Devon spotted his mom’s dealer. The dealer acknowledged that Yolanda was in bad shape and walked off.
At the airport, Lily thought of Daniel, cue the romantic flashback montage. On the run. Wacky disguises. Kissing on the beach. OMG where is the tissue? Dru stepped away to make some calls and Daniel showed up. Lily threw herself into his arms and they bid each other farewell.
