Victor cared for Nikki in the aftermath of her kidnapping. Nikki worried about Bobby and wondered if he knows he’s now a father. “I’m so sorry you had to go through this ordeal,” he said, stroking her cheek. “It was a nightmare,” she shuddered. “I’m just glad things turned out the way they did.” Victor held her and assured her that Bobby and Brittany would be all right.
In the hospital, the nurse informed Brittany that her son was doing well for a preemie. Brit was disappointed that Bobby still hadn’t called. “Someone must’ve heard from Bobby by now,” she told JT. JT tried to get Brit to eat, but she was too upset. “This isn’t the way this was supposed to turn out,” she said. “I’m scared.”
Meanwhile, Bobby told Christine and Paul that he has evidence to put Vinny and his gang away for a long time. Chris stopped his tirade long enough to let him know he’s a dad. Paul reminded him that even though Vinny and Luca are in jail, if the rest of the mob finds out what Bobby did, he’s dead. Christine and Paul revealed that they’ve arranged to have him go into protective custody, and that Brittany and the baby would also be taken care of. Paul told him it was okay to visit Brit at the hospital. Later, Brit was thrilled to see her husband. He was relieved that their baby is going to be healthy. JT looked uncomfortable as Bobby helped Brit to her feet so they could go visit their son. After they left, he called Mac and asked to talk.
Kevin and Mac put together a business plan for their coffee house. “Wow, you’re so beautiful when you’re wound up,” he told her. “You’re glowing.” “I haven’t been this excited in a long time,” she agreed. Later, Mac went to meet JT. He filled her in the ruse he, Brittany and Bobby had been playing, pretending that the baby was his and Brit’s. A confused Mac didn’t know how to respond. “You kept me in the dark and jumped through all these hoops for Brittany!” she cried. “You sold out.” JT argued that it was the only way to keep Brittany safe. “Any of idea of what I’ve been through so that you could be Brittany’s knight in shing armor?” Mac went on. JT apologized profusely and begged for her forgiveness. He then kissed her and she kissed back. “How do I not know you’re lying to me know?” she wondered…. Meanwhile, Angelo went to the hospital and told the nurse he’s Bobby brothers. Nurse Clueless told him exactly where Brit and Bobby’s son, Joshua, is.
The Winterses and Michael waited to hear the judge’s verdict on Lily. Mike’s mind was on other things, though, namely his argument with Lauren over him visiting Scott in Toronto. Finally, the judge called Lily and her family into his quarters. He decided to not try her as an adult and let her go for now, but warned her that if she messes up, she can end up back in a juvenile facility. He also told her that he doesn’t feel she’s shown enough remorse for what she did, and that she isn’t to leave town. After, the family celebrated. Dru began to lecture her daughter, but Lily stopped her, wanting to savor, “the miracle” of no longer being locked up. “I wish this were happening for Daniel,” she lamented,” because he does not deserve to be in there.” Dru was just about to muzzle Lily when the teen yammered on some more about her boyfriend. “One more strike and we’re not going to be able to help you again,” Neil told her. Her parents urged her to change her attitude. “You should be planning your senior year,” Dru explained. Lily took this to mean her folks don’t want her to date; they clarified that they just don’t want her to date Daniel. “Years down the road, you’re going to say, ‘Daniel, who?’ ” Dru stated (yeah, like that argument ever works on teens!).
Lauren went to Toronto to see her son. Scott was surprised, but happy that his mom stopped by. “You’re looking a little thin,” she admonished in typical mom mode, before moving on to asking if he has a girlfriend (“They’re all special,” he told her). She then began to ask him about his writing, but he could tell that she was really there for some other reason. She blurted out that she and Michael are engaged; Scott said he liked Mike when he met him. She then admitted that she and Michael had had a huge argument. “If you’re already fighting, maybe he isn’t the right guy,” Scott stated. Lauren assured him that Michael is definitely the one. Scott went on the dispense some advice. “When did my son become the relationship expert?” she asked. She ‘fessed up that she and Baldwin have been engaged since May, but that they’re probably not going to have the wedding in Genoa City. Scott was perturbed to hear she doesn’t want him at the wedding. “I look at you and this man that you’ve become and I know all the decisions I’ve mad in my life are the right ones,” she said, sniffling back some tears (Aw, Mom, way to embarrass your kid)…. Back in Genoa City, Michael continued to badger Brad about Lauren. Brad suggests he look up Sheila…. In Toronto, Lauren left Scott’s apartment. Out of a back room came … Sheila. “So, you’re mother’s getting married,” she chirped to Scott. Dun Dun DUN!
