Tom saw a picture of Michael and Lauren and drooled over Lauren. John got a new hip. Christine dropped in on Michael and asked how Kevin was doing. Kevin went to see Neil and defended Daniel. Kevin insisted he’s changed. Lily came home and interrupted them. Kevin left and Neil told Lily that Kevin wanted him to cut Daniel some slack. Lily said Kevin had a point. “Dad, since when are you so judgmental?” Kevin went home and cried to Michael, “You have no idea what it’s like to be me.”
The Newmans finished dinner and complimented Miguel on outdoing himself. Nick was surprised to learn Victoria has taken up cooking. Noah and Cassie asked Victoria to stay in Genoa City for good; Sharon changed the subject. When Nick and Victoria were finally left alone, the gloves came off and Victoria asked Nick why he hired Drucilla, a “neophyte.” He retorted that maybe she shouldn’t have come back to Genoa City.
Mac told J.T. he should hit the books instead of reading car magazines. Comprende? Then they kissed.
Jack and Gloria went back to the house and Gloria nearly fainted when she saw all the blood. They got down on their hands and knees and cleaned up the blood together. (Where’s Mamie when you need her?)
Ashley revealed to John that Kevin saved his life. Victoria arrived at Jack’s and asked if the CEO position at Jabot is still available.

Ashley and Jack told Gloria they want her to move out when John comes home from the hospital. Gloria responded by telling them they should move out. Nick looked forward to Victoria leaving Genoa City. Nikki asked Victoria if she’s going back to Italy to escape getting back into the fray at Newman. Victoria accused Victor of letting Nick make lousy business decisions. Victor was not pleased.
Lily gave Dru attitude for screwing up her relationship with Daniel. Kevin — or “Mr. Abbott’s stepson,” as he referred to himself — called to check on John’s condition. Gloria thanked Kevin for saving John’s life. Neil tracked Daniel down at the coffeehouse and asked about his friendship with Kevin. Daniel defended Kevin. “If I ditch Kevin, I have your permission to date Lily?” Daniel queried.
Lottery-winner Michael talked with Lauren about traveling the world.”This is your chance to splurge,” salivated Lauren. Kevin told Michael not to forget who bought him the ticket. Nikki called a family dinner. Nick toasted Victoria, but you could cut the tension with a pearl-handled steak knife.
Jack tried to buy off Gloria. She refused his offer. A mystery man did a terrible thing and broke into Michael’s apartment. Welcome home, dad…

Victor and Nikki were surprised to learn Victoria had been in town for a day and didn’t contact them immediately. She revealed she spoke with Nicholas and knows he’s running Newman (“Dad, how can you do that?”). Back at the ranch, Nick and Sharon gossiped about Victoria and tried to guess her next move.
Jack thanked (!) Kevin for saving John’s life. Gloria kept vigil — and cried buckets — at John’s bedside, while the doctor told Jack and Ashley he needs a hip replacement.
Jill and Brad argued about who should be CEO of Jabot. Dru and Neil argued about Lily and Daniel, who were at the coffeehouse discussing their relationship. Daniel ended up walking out on Lily. Devon asked Sierra to help him with his homework (he’s getting a C in math). John finally spoke and asked Gloria to leave. Kevin explained to Michael and Lauren what happened to John. Michael was “proud” of Kevin for saving John’s life. “I didn’t want him to die,” Kev explained.
Ashley revealed to Gloria that Kevin saved John’s life, but Ash stopped her before she could tell John. Lily told Dru she got her wish — it’s over with Daniel. Victoria questioned Nick’s decision to have Dru head the cosmetics division, and then asked Victor to give her a good reason why she should stay in Genoa City.

John finally made it off the floor and to the hospital. Ashley arrived and accused Kevin of attacking her father. Kevin begged her not to call the police. Nick grilled his “sis” about her plans now that she’s back in Genoa City. Brad turned up at Newman and told Victor he’s resigning from Jabot. Phyllis ordered Daniel to stop seeing Lily. Meanwhile, Devon counseled Lily about her love life. J.T. and Mac brought Brittany a plant. Christine tried to keep the peace between Michael and Paul (“If Paul goes, I go,” she threatened. Paul to Michael: “You promised me an office!”).
Jill celebrated getting the CEO spot at Jabot even though it wasn’t official yet. Victor told Brad he wouldn’t be opposed to him working at Newman Enterprises. Brad asked Victor how Dru is doing heading the cosmetics division; Victor replied diplomatically that she’s a hard worker.
In the end, Michael allowed Paul to stay. Ashley reached Jack at the GCAC and he rushed to the hospital, not telling Jill what had happened. Ashley apologized to Kevin for accusing him of causing John’s accident. Victor to Nikki re: Brad: “He’s a good man.” Nikki: “Where did that come from?”
Jack arrived at the hospital, followed by Gloria, who demanded to see John first. “I’m his wife!”
Victoria reunited with Victor and Nikki at Newman Enterprises. Watch out, Nick.

Kevin FREAKED at finding John covered in blood at the bottom of the Abbott staircase. As he cried for help, he ran erratically around looking for anyone. Finally realizing nobody was home, Kevin called 911. John stirred, opening his eyes to see a panicked Kevin looking down at him. Kevin comforted him, asking him to hang in for his mom, because she needs him. He ripped off his shirt to create a tourniquet and pulled it tightly around the bleeding leg, making John scream. Waiting for the paramedics, Kevin realized he probably looked guilty, but when help arrived, they praised him for his quick action. Unfortunately, Ashley didn’t see things the same way. She assumed the worst when she saw Kevin inside and went on the attack….
Victoria and Nick exchanged hugs at the tack house and pretended to play nice together as they caught up on each other’s lives. She showed off her art and her Italian, while he opened up about working with dad. The conversation didn’t end as sweetly. After Nick asked how long she’d hang around “boring old Genoa City,” Victoria called him on what he really wanted to ask: “How soon will you really be leaving, Victoria?”….
Christine was surprised to learn Michael had fired Paul. As Paul explained his part in uncovering the family connection between Michael, Kevin and Gloria, JT stormed in. The PI in training was angry with Paul for keeping him in the dark about the fact that he was investigating Kevin’s mother all along. Christine suggested that Michael just needed to cool down, but then he arrived still steaming and Christine quickly found herself in the middle. After JT was sent off, the boys were ready to throw punches, but Christine told them they’d have to go through her. Paul told Michael he was taking this too personally, prompting Michael to call him “pompous bag of wind.” Michael again tried to kick him out of the offices, Chris insisted no one was going anywhere….
After spotting Daniel and Lily holding hands over coffee at Crimson Lights, Devon remembered the night she took his own hand over a horror flick. He played it cool, noting they seemed to be getting close, to which Lily answered, “It does look that way, doesn’t it?” It sure did to Dru when she walked in! Even though she knew it would threaten the newfound peace between herself and Lily, Dru stormed up and forbid Lily and Devon from hanging out with Daniel. Devon wasn’t complaining and neither was Phyllis once she showed up. Phyllis consoled Daniel, suggesting he let it go for now. It seems these dueling divas have finally found something they agree on, but that didn’t make their interaction any smoother. Phyllis tried to keep things calm, but then Dru insinuated that Daniel was a boarding school brat who would take advantage of Lily. Daniel came to his own defense, pointing out all the support he’s given Lily recently. Phyllis complimented Lily, but agreed they shouldn’t be together. She stormed out after Dru subtly threatened her job over the conflict….
Out back, JT was still stewing over Mac’s “little buddy Kevin Fisher,” so Mac teased that he should compliment her instead of getting into that. When JT told her she didn’t need to hear how pretty she is, she told him that girls like to hear it, even from a “player like him.” He insisted he’s no player, warning her that he’ll never beg or bring flowers, so she can take it or leave it. She threatened to leave unless he begged. He did a bit of begging for show, but it was his kiss that left Mac weak in the knees. After more heavy flirting, Mac asked JT what they were “doing,” to which he replied, “I don’t know.”….
Gloria held court at the club, slowly working her way through an early gin. First she and Michael discussed Kevin’s whereabouts and though Michael snarked about burning down the Abbott house, he was concerned. They commiserated over Gloria’s dismal marital situation until he left. Next came Ashley to kick Gloria while she was down. Gloria was quick to point out that Ashley broke John’s heart, too. Ashley retorted that her dad would thank her “for pulling the wool off of his eyes.” It must be wonderful to be such a perfect human being, sighed Gloria….
Meanwhile, Brittany and Bobby talked over the bar about his new job, which she called “a little detour.” She was excited that they’re starting fresh, but then the past came up in the form of Angelo. After he mentioned Bobby seeing Vinnie, Bobby sent Brittany off. The guys talked about old times and how well the club is doing, but Bobby didn’t bite at the chance to work there again. Brittany returned and ordered Angelo to stop tempting her husband. Angelo dropped Vinnie’s name again before leaving and it was clear to Brittany that whoever he is, he’s trouble. Bobby told a concerned Brittany that, “my old friends weren’t exactly choir boys. I can’t get rid of every jerk in two months.” She accepted that and they kissed and made up. On their way out, Bobby introduced Brittany to Gloria, who wished them luck with the baby Brittany’s carrying.
