Y&R NABS NEW DOCTOR
Helen Slater, who starred in the 1984 flick Supergirl and has also appeared on SMALLVILLE and THE LYING GAME, will debut on Y&R on May 2 for a multi-episode stint as Dr. Chiverton, an OB/GYN. In breaking the news, TV Guide's Michael Logan tweeted, "Don't assume the obvious!" on the subject of whose pregnancy she'll be dealing with.
