Daniel phoned Kevin from Crimson Lights to see if he could crash at his place, then ran into Colleen, who swore that Lily hadn’t mentioned anything about their fight. Amber jumped for joy at seeing her closets at the Chancellor mansion, then received a call from a troubled Daniel.
On the jet, Nicholas noted that all the Newman women had been vexed lately. Sharon reminded Nick that she wouldn’t perjure herself to save Phyllis, and he assured her that he’d never ask her to do that. Obviously yearning for a topic change, Sharon said she couldn’t believe it’d been two years since Cassie died and that everything seemed to fall apart once she was gone. Sharon then admitted to Nick that she was still in love with Brad, prompting him to question just when she knew she loved Carlton. Sharon admitted that she loved him before New York, when Nick and Sharon were still trying to work out their marriage. After some further interrogation, they hugged it out and Sharon forgave her ex for everything that happened back then. Meanwhile, Nikki warned Phyllis that Sharon would tell the grand jury everything.
Jack walked in as Victor listened to the tape of Jack declaring ownership of Jabot. Victor informed Jack that he betrayed Newman and that he wouldn’t get away with it. He threatened to take Jack down if he didn’t sell N.V.P. to him. Jack didn’t understand why Victor had waited so long to make that request.
Jill couldn’t tear Ji Min away from his PDA. Ji Min claimed he was waiting for word on a difficult negotiation. As Jill and Ji Min made dinner plans, Kay brought in Cane and introduced him as the man who would be overseeing the construction of Clear Springs.
Daniel confessed to Amber that Lily caught him red-handed when she created an account on Strangers By Night and he responded. Daniel insisted that the didn’t do anything wrong and that Lily tricked him. Amber argued that didn’t change the fact that he lied to his wife. Amber headed to Lily’s to do some damage control.
Back at Daniel and Lily’s, Colleen assured Lily that things would work out. Lily said she couldn’t believe Daniel walked out in the middle of their argument, and Colleen asked if maybe she was overreacting. Amber showed up talking about lacy tank tops and pretended to be there to meet Daniel. Cane’s latest “joke” on Daniel wasn’t very funny, she pointed out. When Lily asked if Cane ever flirted online, Amber said sure, it’s not harmless. When Lily was out of earshot, Colleen told Amber about the couple’s latest fight, and they agreed to intervene.
Nikki was thrilled to hear that her husband would regain N.V.P. but didn’t want to know how he got control. Meanwhile, Jack retched in the bathroom. Victor made an ominous remark to Nikki about Jack putting himself right where Victor wants him. Meanwhile, Jack ran into Phyllis and revealed that Victor set him up. When she didn’t understand, he explained that he owned Jabot. Phyllis said she understood what he did and that Victor can’t get away with this. Ji Min nervously recalled Victor offering him a safe house, then was confronted by Jack about the tape. Ji Min denied having anything to do with it. Phyllis stormed into Victor’s office to give him hell for tricking Jack. Victor refused to hear it from someone who was being tried for extortion and called Phyllis nave.
Daniel and Lily finally came face-to-face at Crimson Lights and he apologized for walking out on her, but not for talking to strangers online. He tried to say it was like smiling back at a person who checks you out. Lily didn’t see it that way. Colleen, Cane and Amber ganged up on Lily when she tried to leave.
The pilot notified Sharon and Nick that he was ready for takeoff. Ji Min told Jill that he had to go to Korea for something that suddenly came up. Jill persuaded him to take her along. Jack confided in Kay that he’d made a huge mistake in hiding his ownership of Jabot, but wanted to sell it back to her. Kay was furious and asked why he’d sell Jabot if it was just getting back on its feet. He explained that he wanted to move forward with his political career and that he’d learned a lot about honesty since his father passed away. Phyllis left a cell phone message for Nick, while Victor received some alarming news — the jet went down.
