Cassie stumbled into Crimson Lights and collapsed in Daniel’s arms. Nick stormed into the tack room looking for Cassie; Victoria tried to comfort her brother. Meanwhile, at the hospital, Sharon sought comfort in Victor’s arms (Hmm…). Victoria beat herself up for not being around for Cassie and Noah. Sharon’s mother, Doris, arrived at the hospital to give her daughter support. Back at the coffeehouse, Cassie tried to tell Daniel about the accident, but Nick ran in and scooped her up to take her back to the hospital. “What did she want to tell me?” a distraught Daniel asked Lily. Good question!
John was moved by Gloria’s concern for Cassie. Gitta yelled at John for still being up. Gloria continued to gaslight Gitta by implying the house is haunted. “Casper the Friendly Ghost?” Ashley cracked. Then Ash announced she was “Restless” (Ha, ha!) and was going to the GCAC, where Victoria and Brad were getting cozy. Gitta pressed Glo for details about the “haunted” house.
Vinny demanded that Bobby pay his debt — or else.
As Mac moped around the Chancellor mansion, J.T. whined to Brittany that he jumped through hoops for Mac. Brittany pointed out that J.T. wants a roommate with the benefits of a girlfriend — with no commitment. “And you wonder why a girl like Mac won’t go along with that?” she posed. J.T. then started to badmouth Bobby. “If this is what marriage is all about, I’m fine being single,” J.T. insisted.
Jill barged in on Mac/Katherine bonding, telling Mac to not listen to her grandmother. “Sometimes you do need to compromise, Mackenzie, or you’ll end up alone just like her.” Jill reflected on her first true love, Phillip, and Mac admitted she admires Jill.

Cassie passed out before she could tell Sharon where she was. She came to at the bus stop and remembered for the 1,000th time driving the car. Sharon flashed back to the time meanie Nick berated her for leaving Cassie and fleeing Genoa City. “What kind of mother abandons her kids?” she cried to Victor.
Brad brought Victoria lasagna (from Gina’s), but was bummed when Jack insisted on joining them. Four was a crowd when Phyllis barged in. Jack and Phyllis eventually returned to the Abbott mansion, where she clashed with Gloria. Later, Brad and Victoria cuddled on the couch.
Kevin successfully spooked Gitta by moving her purse and messing with the lights. Kevin got spooked himself when he came home and Lauren startled him. He tearfully gave her and Michael’s engagement his blessing.
J.T. stopped by the Chancellor estate to see Mac. They decided to go to the GCAC to have dessert, but when they returned to the house they got into another fight.
Brittany discussed baby names with Bobby as he made bellinis at the GCAC.
As Lily and Daniel frantically waited at Crimson Lights for Cassie, they discussed taking a trip this summer. Lily suggested camping, Daniel wanted to go to Europe.
Cassie finally arrived at Crimson Lights.

At the hospital, Sharon and Victor fretted over Cassie, who was half-conscious on bench at a bus stop. An older woman offered to help her, but Cassie waved her off. She tried to get up, but ended up curled up on the bench, mumbling about having to “find Daniel” to “tell him I was driving.”
At the Abbott house, Nick confronted Daniel about Cassie’s disappearance. Daniel asserted that he hardly knows Cassie, and offered to help look for her. Nick turned him down and walked out. Daniel and Lily tried to figure out where Cassie might go, and Daniel decided he had to go help look for Cassie, despite what Nick said.
At the tack house, Victoria worried about Cassie and recalled the last conversation they had. Jack arrived to see Vikki and comforted her. Jack changed the subject to Victoria, and urged her to stay in Genoa City no matter what. Flirting ensued until Jack offered to get Vikki some food from the main house. Before he could leave, Brad showed up with dinner in tow. Imagine his surprise when he saw Jack standing there…
Jill briefed Katherine on Jabot business until Jack barged in, complaining that Damon Porter resigned without Jill trying to keep him on (it wasn’t that long ago that Jack would have welcomed Damon’s leaving, when D was hooked up with Phyllis). Katherine came to Jill’s defense, telling Jack to back off and treat her with respect. After Jill railed on after Jack left, Katherine thought to herself that she may indeed have “created a monster” by supporting Jill’s cause.
Mac continued to blow off JT after he finished singing his love song to her. She admitted that she liked being roommates with him, but was still ticked off. JT called Mac on her not being honest with him about how she felt. She countered that JT hasn’t been listening to her. JT urged Mac to tell him about her feelings, but instead she screamed at him and walked out. Mac went home to Katherine, still angry. Seconds later, JT rang the bell, looking for his refugee roommate.
John and Gitta continued their dinner at the Athletic Club, where she thanked him for his hospitality, calling him the most likeable patient she’s ever had. He returned the favor, calling her the most attractive therapist he’s ever had (not that he’s had one before her). Then he commented on her amulet, which made her hold it nervously. Gitta explained it came from her grandmother. Then she quickly changed the subject to Gloria and how she and John seem “distant.” John agreed, but declined going into detail. Kevin and Gloria found Gitta’s amulet on the Internet; it’s said to protect the wearer against “poltergeists and zombies,” among other nefarious beings. And it loses its power if another person touches it. This got them thinking…
Lauren and Michael came home, kissing their way through the door. When Michael announced their engagement, Gloria was thrilled and beelined to check out the ring (which IS huge), while Kevin’s face fell. He congratulated them, but remained visibly shaken. Guess he’s not that over Lauren after all. Glo and Kevin left to give the couple more alone time.
Gitta and John returned home to Gloria sitting in the living room. After she and Gitta bickered over who should help John to bed (and after John finished enjoying having two women fight over him), Gloria offered they both go with John. Kevin hid behind a door while Gloria followed John and Gitta to his room. After they left, Kevin moved Gitta’s purse and dimmed the lights. Gitta returned, saw her moved purse and swore, clutching her amulet before rushing out of the room.
Michael and Lauren talked about his family, and what Lauren would be getting into by marrying him. Lauren reminded him that she’d already seen plenty (the last year of Kevin/Glo drama, anyone?), and that she wasn’t marrying his kin, she was marrying him. That vote of confidence was enough for Michael to happily carry her off to bed.
Nick returned to the hospital to update Sharon before going back out to search. Sharon remembered her cell phone was in the trenchcoat Cassie was wearing, and ran to dial the number. An extremely weak Cassie answered…

Michael asked Lauren to marry him using the cards at the blackjack table. Lauren didn’t say “yes” right away, accusing Michael of not being able to open up to her, so he got down on one knee and asked her again. “I need a couple of days,” Lauren hedged. Michael pressed her for an answer and hit the jackpot when she finally said yes. Bells went off — and then Elvis appeared.
Phyllis apologized to Victor for everything. Nikki interrupted and strongly suggested that Phyllis quit her job at Newman Enterprises. Victor stood up for Phyllis. Then Nick called and reported that Cassie was missing.
Lily came up with a plan to hide Daniel in the Abbott shed. Phyllis called Daniel and revealed that Cassie was missing.
Cassie wrapped her head in a scarf and fled the hospital to find Daniel. Sharon went ballistic when she discovered Cassie was missing.
Gloria was horrified when John and Gitta showed up at the Genoa City Athletic Club. “At least Mr. Abbott is moving,” deadpanned Kevin. John stopped by and said hello to Gloria, telling her she looked lovely. Later, Kevin and Gloria plotted to gaslight Gitta, who revealed to John she doesn’t have a greencard (“unless I marry an American man”). Hmmmm…
J.T. made Senorita Mac a taco, and stalled when she asked about his trip to Cancun with Samantha. When Mac tried to leave, J.T. pulled out all the stops by pulling out his guitar and singing her a love song. He sounded better than Elvis.

The episode opened with a shot of a Forrester Creations box, but it was most definitely Y&R — Lauren and Michael were all decked out for a night on the town. (Lauren and Eric Forrester are old friends, hence the box. Eric designed Lauren’s special dress, at Michael’s request.) Lauren accused Michael of having intimacy issues. She wasn’t complaining, however, when Michael whisked her off to the Colonnade Room, which he transformed into a casino, roulette wheel and all. “Life is a gamble,” Michael pontificated. At the end of the episode, he popped the question by using cards at the blackjack table.
Lily tried to keep Daniel from leaving town. He insisted he could get his hands on enough money to flee the country (unfortunately, he couldn’t sell his car…). Lily wanted to go on the run with him. When he refused, she came up with the “perfect” idea: he could disappear right under their noses.
J.T. called Mac and asked her to come get her things “rapido.” Samantha was moving in, and he was going to Cancun with her that night. (She had frequent flier miles.) When Mac arrived at the apartment, however, J.T. was wearing a sombrero and cooking up tacos. For her?
Damon stopped my Phyllis’ to announce he’s leaving town with Adrienne. “Oh, so you’re back together?” Phyllis queried, before finally admitting, “You’re doing the right thing.” Damon offered his pad to stay at but she stuck with the Abbott mansion (she’s not stupid). They promised to keep in touch via e-mail.
Sharon and Nick held on to hope even though Cassie’s temperature didn’t go down and her doctor said the prognosis didn’t look good.
Cassie had another flashback, where she remembered that she was driving when the accident happened. She pulled out her IV and left the hospital to go find Daniel. Not a good idea.
