Daniel met with his parole officer at the GCAC. Lily soon joined them and assured the officer that they’d received “official written permission” for their elopement. Neil then arrived and surprisingly covered for them. Officer No Nonsense was satisfied and ended the appointment. After, Neil met with Paul and explained that he’d covered for them so they wouldn’t be suspicious about the investigation. Paul revealed that on the marriage certificate, Lily had said that Dru’s dead and that Malcolm is her father. Later, at home, Daniel and Lily dined on “wedding cake” and discussed their dwindling finances. Daniel said they could get part-time jobs, but vowed to never dress up like a banana again, as he had in a previous assignment. Lily was grateful that Neil had helped them and told her husband that Neil is still her dad, even if he’s not her biological father. She then sat down on their bed and sadly thought about her family.

Katherine and Jill discussed Jabot business. Meanwhile, at the hospital, Jack and Ashley also tried to figure out how they could stop the other promo kits from being sent, or the cream from being used by those who’d gotten the kits…. Victoria joined Brad at the hospital, as he waited for news on Abby. Brad blamed Jack for what had happened to his daughter.

Gloria and Kevin visited Lauren at her boutique. Glo humiliated her son again by calling Mackenzie his “girlfriend” and suggesting that he buy Mac a gift. While there, Gloria noticed that Lauren had received the Jabot promo kit. Soon, Kay and Jill arrived and Gloria showed them her burned forehead. Kay didn’t seem to care, but was aghast that Abby had gotten injured by the product. Jack came to the boutique and told the group that everything was “under control.” Unless you counted the one woman who’d used the product and ended up in the hospital. Later, over lunch, Kevin realized that Glo had sabotaged the cream. He didn’t approve of his mom’s scheme, but she explained that she needed to prove how incompetent Jack and Ashley are. Kevin worried about the other people who could get hurt, but she insisted that she’d done the right thing. “You’re looking at the new Gloria Abbott,” she stated, confident that she wouldn’t get caught. Yeah, new and improved and crazier. She then warned Kevin that he’d better not say anything. (Or what? She’ll put tainted cream on him?)

Phyllis realized that Sharon knew about her and Nicholas’s affair. Meanwhile, Sharon and Nick headed to the Heartbreak, er, Genoa City Hotel … where Sharon had booked the same room that Nick and Phyllis had used. Phyll frantically tried to call Nick, but couldn’t reach him, thanks to Sharon swiping his cell phone. “I wonder what I did to deserve such an amazing wife,” Nick smarmed. He then tried to kiss his wife, but she turned away and suggested he get ready for dinner instead…. Back in town, Victor praised Phyllis’s performance at NVP. Phyl cringed when he said she’s “part of the family.”… At the hotel, Nick and Sharon slow danced (though she understandably didn’t seem that into it). After a few minutes of that, Nick was ready to get down on the couch, uh, be intimate with his wife, but Shar urged him to be patient. Nick told his wife that them being together reminds him of the good times, but Sharon noted that their years haven’t been all good. They reminisced about the past; Sharon shared that even in high school she knew they’d get married… Phyllis again tried to reach Nick and got Miguel instead. She began to panic when he told her where the couple was. Later, Phyl had room service sent to the couple and left a note for Nick with the deliverer. As Nick went to read the note, Sharon emerged from the bathroom in the tell-tale lacy, white lingerie (which on her, looked a lot like whipped cream). “Recognize this?” she purred. “Gulp!” replied Nick, lying that he didn’t remember it. “Have you worn it before?” “I haven’t,” Sharon said, “but someone else has.” “Who?” he asked. “Phyllis,” she sneered. “She bought it for you.” “Why would she do that?” Stupid Nick went on. “You tell me,” said Sharon, revealing that she knew about the affair. Busted!
