Nick intoned Donald Trump and said to Phyllis: “You’re fired.” Victoria sided with Nick. Phyllis threatened to sue for wrongful termination, at which point Victoria tried to change Nick’s mind. When Phyllis mouthed off, Victoria stood by Nick’s decision. Phyllis quit after delivering a low blow: She told Nick that Cassie would be alive if he hadn’t let her out of the house that night. In private, Nick admitted to Victoria that part of him does blame himself for Cassie’s death.
Sharon and Brad worked out at the gym. Brad remarked that he’s surprised Nick went straight back to the office instead of spending time with her (um, butt out, Brad?).
Brittany packed her bags. J.T., who’s being a toad, didn’t want “princess” to leave. At the GCAC, Vinny taunted Bobby the bartender. Bobby was about to tell Brittany to take off to Kansas City when J.T. hobbled in on crutches and sporting a shiner. J.T. pulled out a gun and started waving it in Bobby’s face.
Paul and Christine discussed the Romalotti case. Christine worried about Nicholas, who’s “still a friend.” Later, Chris went to see Nick to give him a heads-up on the case.
Dru caught Devon looking for dough for mom in her purse. Dru went to the park looking for Yolanda. She came across Yolanda’s drug dealer, who she paid to bring her Yolanda (does she want to go to jail like Lily and Daniel?!). The dealer brought Yolanda back and Dru IDd herself as Devon’s adoptive mother. Dru “respectfully” asked her to let her son go. Dru even offered to pay for rehab. (They must pay awfully good at Newman.) Yolanda agreed with Dru about Devon, but balked about cleaning herself up. Dru went home and told Devon she went to see his mother. “Stay away from her,” Devon demanded.
TT went to see MB (that’s Michael Baldwin). MB asked TT if he’s still seeing AA (Ashley Abbott), and he admitted he’s not. TT got all flustered and claimed he has feelings like everyone else. Michael was unmoved and once again tried to pay off TT to leave GC.
