At the ranch, Nikki was irked to pick up a call from someone, who insisted on anonymity. The call was for Victor, who asked the caller to check out Brad’s story. Afterward, Victor told his wife that he doesn’t think Sharon’s kidnapper was really killed accidentally like Brad had said…. While at Newman Enterprises, Brad spotted a shadowy figure in the halls. Someone approached from behind and he grabbed the person by the neck, too bad it was only Victoria. She made it clear that she’s tired of Brad’s jumpiness. He insisted on accompanying his wife back to her office. When a man walked by, Brad lunged out of the office and wrestled the stranger into a headlock. The man, Richie, admitted that he was a PI from Madison and Victor hired him to keep tabs on Carlton. Afterward, Brad sniped at Victoria to trust his instincts next time.
J.T. and Colleen had a playful time at the loft. They talked about resolutions, hers was to be honest with the people she cares about. J.T. interrupted to suggest they go grab a bite to eat…. Amber looked up information online at the coffeehouse and talked about Sylvia Browne’s reading with Adrian. He found the term “expert psychic” dubious, but offered to help. He essentially showed her how to do a simple Internet search with tips such as putting words in quotes. She looked up info on Violet, but didn’t find anything useful. Colleen and J.T. showed up at Crimson Lights, where J.T. noted that he wants Adrian out of their lives. Colleen pointed out that he’s still her teacher. When J.T. went to place an order, Adrian came over to give his student a copy of a book on the Louvre. J.T. Returned and Amber slinked up to make gratuitous sexy comments.
Jill happily chatted about Will Bardwell to Katherine. She observed that her mom looks tired. Kay said she doesn’t want to burden Jill. Kay wanted to sit down for a serious talk, but Will’s call interrupted them. Kay called Nikki and told her that Jill still doesn’t know the truth. Kay pleaded with Nikki to help her. When Jill was free, Katherine insisted that she had to tell her something horrible and ordered her daughter to shut up and let her do it. Jill embraced Katherine. Nikki showed up and Jill said it wasn’t a good time, but Kay urged her to stay. Nikki put an arm around Kay and said that Katherine had something important to say.
Brad and Victoria went to the ranch, where Victoria confronted her dad about the detective. A completely unruffled Victor said he was making sure his daughter is out of danger given Brad’s sketchy background. When Newman noted that he doesn’t even know the full story, Brad confessed that he’d killed two bad men. Victoria defended her husband’s actions. He seemed to understand.
J.T. and Colleen headed home to watch Ghost, while Adrian and Amber hit his place so he could whip up a pasta meal. She used Adrian’s laptop to do more research and found a message board posting from an adoptee, who calls himself “Mr. Searcher”. She tried to find him for an online chat, but there was no response. Adrian took over. At the same time, J.T. was online. When Adrian tried to message Colleen, he saw a notification that noted she was “getting busy” with her boyfriend. Amber undressed and started getting “busy” with Adrian. While they were smooching, “Mr. Searcher” responded to Amber.
Back at the Chancellor Estate a tormented Kay confessed to Jill that she may have switched another baby for Phillip.
