As Drucilla and Phyllis’s argument became as loud as Phyllis’s bright, blue dress, an eavesdropping Lily heard Phyllis’s comment that Malcolm — not Neil — is the teen’s biological dad. After ordering Dru not to make trouble for Daniel, Phyllis exited and was aghast to see Lily in the hall. The teen didn’t let on that she’d heard the row. Afterward, a teary Lily ran to Daniel and sobbed that she hates her mom and will make her pay.
J.T. reeled from the news of Mackenzie’s miscarriage and said he was sorry she had to go through it alone. He was taken aback when Mac reported that Kevin had been with her. J.T. chewed Mac out for not telling him about the pregnancy sooner. She apologized and said she should have listened to Kevin and her grandmother. Uh-oh, poor choice of words. J.T. hit the roof when he found out that Fisher knew about the baby before he did. When Kevin arrived, J.T. laid into him, said Fisher could have Mac and stormed out. Kevin assured Mac that J.T. was just blowing off steam and would get over it.
Sharon set up a romantic dinner for herself and Nicholas, which was interrupted by Victoria, who had stopped by to see Noah. After Sharon headed off to the GCAC to get peach cobbler for her son, Nick stepped away to answer the phone. It was Phyllis calling to check on Noah. A tight-lipped Nick made it clear that it wasn’t a good time to talk. Afterward, he comforted his sister over her broken engagement to Brad. Back at the GCAC, Sharon comforted Brad. Victoria and J.T. both ended up at the club, too, and did shots together. They went back to Victoria’s place and made out.
Dru complained to Neil about Phyllis, while Phyllis told Jack about her confrontation with Dru. The redhead voiced her fears that Lily had overheard. Jack offered support and told Phyllis he needed her in his life. They shared a long kiss and she lead him upstairs. Meanwhile, Nick picked up his cell phone and fought the urge to call Phyllis. Later on, with Jack still upstairs, a robed Phyllis descended to the living room and cried by herself.
Dru arrived home and Lily said she wanted to talk about her father: her “real” father, Malcolm. A bitter argument ensued until Neil came in and demanded to know what was going on.
