Lauren was “blown” to smithereens when the yacht blew up. Michael exploded himself when he learned the fuel tank was the cause (or so everyone thought).
Nikki stopped by Phyllis’ to discuss pitching the wellness center. Nikki was concerned about being partners because of Phyllis’ “office romance” with Jack. Phyllis accused Nikki of attacked her and ripping off “her” idea. Nikki left, but Phyllis followed her to the GCAC so Nikki couldn’t pitch the idea to Jack without her.
Ashley revealed to Jack that Gloria and “Dad” aren’t legally married. John confronted Gloria about still being married to Tom. Gloria cried that she didn’t know about the marriage until Tom came to Genoa City. Then John called the entire family to the house, where he revealed he’s going to marry Gloria FOR REAL this time.
Jill and Katherine said goodbye to J.T. and Mac. Katherine confided in Jill that she’s not thrilled Mac is moving in with J.T., saying it was a huge commitment. “Love is a risky business,” Jill pontificated. At the loft, Kevin was crushed when he learned the news.
Victoria asked Brad to update her on everything that happened in St. Louis. He didn’t want to talk business, so they started making out and making love. Afterward, Brad noticed that she caught the bouquet at the wedding.
Sharon sensed that something was wrong with Nick, who conceded he’s a lucky guy. Talk about guilt. Sharon asked him to make love to her but he couldn’t get what happened with Phyllis out of his mind. “I’m sorry,” he apologized, and she ran upstairs. Later, she lashed out at Nick for giving her the silent treatment, then confessed that she almost reached out to someone — Brad! “It was all me. That’s how empty I feel,” Sharon declared.
EOE (end of episode), Michael called Kevin with the “terrible news.”
