Walt Willey Takes Questions

After hosting both Casting Call and Who Wants to be a Millionaire past Super Soap Weekends, what would you like to do at this year’s event?
Mary, Mass.
Since Super Soap Weekend has started I’ve hosted just about every venue they’ve had there. Now that I’m getting a little older, Cameron [Mathison, Ryan] is perfect for Casting Call. These girls, women — some men, too — die to be on the same stage as him. And he’s personable and wonderful. I must say, I really enjoy Millionaire. I would hope to do that again. With a name like Walt Willey, I’m destined someday to be a game show host. I would always like to get a little more autograph time in, but I’ve been around for almost 18 years, so most everybody has my autograph (laughs). I’ve been a Disney fanatic since I was a kid. The idea of actually hosting a thing at Disney is pretty darn cool. I’m honored to be a part of it.

Is there going to be a honeymoon location shoot for Jack and Erica?
Mel, College Station, Texas
I don’t know. When we get back down the aisle in one piece and having said our vows, then we’ll worry about it. That’s probably Jack and Erica’s opinion, too. Let’s just worry about the I do’s for now.

Once Erica and Jack are married, what is the greatest threat to their relationship?
Misha, Philadelphia
That there is no threat is the greatest threat. We keep coming back to each other. It is as close to unconditional love as one can really have. [Jack] has been there with her even when he wasn’t with her. He’s been there with her through everything. She’s been through such adversity, I think what’s going to scare Erica is that she’s perfectly comfortable. The fact that it’s all okay would be the greatest threat.
