VINCENT IRIZARRY MAKES DAYS DEBUT
Today marks Vincent Irizarry’s first appearance as Deimos Kiriakis on DAYS, Victor’s black sheep brother. “It’s been an absolute joy, I’m telling you,” he tells Digest. “I love this character so much; I love everyone that I’m having the opportunity to work with. Josh [Griffith, co-head writer] has done a great job writing. I’ve worked with Josh before — he was head writer over at THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS when I was there [as David], and I has worked with him on SANTA BARBARA [where Irizarry played Scott]. I’ve worked with pretty much every director that’s on this show; several of them have come from ALL MY CHILDREN. Everybody’s been so gracious and they’re so hard-working. Without question, this is the most efficient show I’ve ever been on. This is not in any way undervaluing the other shows I’ve been on — they’re all wonderful, everybody works so hard — but I’ve never worked on a show where they just have it down.
