Victoria Rowell (ex-Drucilla, Y&R) is no longer pursuing legal action against Sony Pictures and the producer of DAYS, says the hollywoodreporter.com. The actress, who left daytime on her own accord in 2007, filed a lawsuit two years ago that claimed her efforts to return to the No. 1 soap were intentionally blocked as retaliation for her efforts to fill more positions before and behind the camera with African Americans. Though that complaint never moved forward, her claim that she didn’t get a role on DAYS because of retaliation did. An oral hearing was scheduled for Monday, but the judge was informed that there was an agreement to end the case. Rowell tweeted, “To ALL who endeavor for equal opportunities, YOU are my true VALENTINES.” For the full story, click here.
