Trick or Treat
Martha Byrne (Lily):
“My most memorable is when I dressed up as Pat, the ambiguous character from SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE, and I went to the Santa Monica parade in West Hollywood. I got stopped more times, it was hysterical. It got the best reaction walking down Santa Monica Boulevard.”
Chris Beetem (Jordan):
“I’m a wizard. I have this giant wizard face mask with a big beard that I put on. It’s a very realistic looking mask, cost me a couple hundred bucks. I’ve been working on the costume for the last couple years. It started off with the mask and now I have the robe. I’m going to get a staff this year.”
Peyton List (Lucy):
“Last Halloween was pretty memorable. I went to Magnolia Bakery and I got a pumpkin pie because Cady McClain (Rosanna) was having a little Halloween get-together. I was dressed up as Kylie Minogue. I had gotten a wig from hair and Eldo (Ray Estes, ATWT’s makeup artist) came over. Jess (Dunphy, Alison) came down and we walked over to Cady’s from my apartment. We had to cross Sixth Avenue from my apartment and the parade was going through. It took us a good hour just to get to the East Side. It was insane. And I was harassed because I was wearing a little short number and a long blond wig. I got to know what it felt like to be a blond for a night.”
A.J. Lamas (Rafael):
“There was this Halloween where we all stole golf carts from the golf course and terrorized little kids and stole their candy. It was the most fun we ever had. These poor little kids, we’d run up to them and we’d scare them so bad, they’d drop their candy. Then we’d steal their candy, jump in the golf carts and run away laughing.”
Michael Park (Jack):
“My wife and I were in college and going to a Halloween party in East Rochester as a caveman and a cavewoman. We didn’t want to drive so to get to the party we had to walk through a cemetery, which was the creepiest Halloween moment I’ve ever had.”
Jessica Dunphy:
“My most memorable costume is when I talked my boyfriend into being a God and I was a Goddess. I made both of our costumes and I had to talk him into wearing a sheet, a little toga thing, and gold and bronze makeup. It took a lot of persuading but he looked great.”
Agim Kaba: “My best Halloweens were when I was a kid, just being around my family and going trick-or-treating with my little sisters and the next morning you see how much candy you got. I think it’s always a lot more fun when you’re a kid. My best outfit was last year. Me and my friend Justin (Klosky; ex-Joey, GUIDING LIGHT) dressed up like clowns and took the subway to a party and people were staring.”
Jesse Soffer (Will):
“Halloween in middle school. First kiss. Truth or dare. That was a good time. I won’t mention any names. My coolest costume was when I dressed up in a sweet werewolf costume. It has a mask and claws and everything. That was fun. My sisters are a lot younger than me and they were pretty freaked out.”
Sarah Brown (Julia):
“The first Halloween I took my daughter trick-or-treating, she was four and dressed up like a witch. We went up to Jennifer Love Hewitt‘s (ex-Sarah, PARTY OF FIVE) house and knocked on her door. She answered the door and gave candy to my little girl who didn’t know who she was but I was like, ‘How cool! You rock!’ Jordan’s going to dress up this year as Garfield.”
