Top 10 Things OLTL’s Langston Needs To Know About Being a Cramer Woman

Comments

ONE LIFE TO LIVE’s Dorian is in the process of becoming Langston Wilde’s foster mother. Here’s a heads up for the teen who’s in for the ride of her life when she becomes a Cramer. Take note….

1. First and foremost: Whatever the Wilde family motto was, forget it. Repeat after us: “We are Cramer Women. Hear us Roar.”

2. Strange things happen to babies. In 2001, Blair’s on-again, off-again husband Todd kidnapped their son Jack just after he was born. He let Blair believe the baby was dead and gave the child to another couple. Why, you may ask? He thought Jack had been fathered by Max. Blair grieved the loss of a baby. Todd found out that Jack was indeed his child, but instead of telling Blair the truth (In heaven’s name, why do that?) he got the baby back and convinced Blair to adopt him. Of course, the truth came out eventually and Blair was livid. Yet, she forgave him so much she remarried him. On the other hand, Blair continues to hate Marty, despite the fact that Todd raped Marty years ago.

3. Honesty is never the best policy to a Cramer woman. Ask Blair to tell you what Kelly did in 2004 to make sure Kevin thought the child they were raising was their biological offspring. (Here’s a clue: the kid was kidnapped from another soap!)

4. Get your master’s degree in sneakiness. Before Clint and Dorian were an official couple, Dorian actually broke into the Buchanan mansion to get close to Clint. Who cares if the place is filled with rifles?

5. In 2006, Dorian set up an elaborate ruse to make it appear that Adriana was being stalked. However, the set-up went horribly awry when the man Dorian hired to help her actually went after Adriana for real and Rex ended up being the hero. So not only did Dorian fail to break them up, they were more in love than ever. To her credit, Adriana didn’t speak to her mother for months.

6. Dorian will probably never like the man in your life. Kevin. Rex. Todd. Todd. Todd. It’s a lose/lose situation. Markko, beware!

7. Party planners are never needed, because foster mom Dorian can pull off the splashiest event with aplomb. Money and connections turned Starr’s June 2007 prom into a fairy tale, and a few months later Blair’s most recent wedding became a lovely event in less than 24 hours.

8. Beware of Viki. In 1975, the rivalry between Dorian and Viki began when Dorian went after Viki’s father, Victor Lord. Dorian and Viki will always be at odds, so befriending her and her daughters would not be a good idea in your first year. After that, proceed at your own risk.

9. There are no constants. What might apply in one situation most likely won’t apply in another. Todd could not bear to raise another man’s child years ago when he thought Jack was Max’s kid, yet he expects Blair to now raise his child with Margaret. Can you spell h-y-p-o-c-r-i-t-e?

10. Expect drama in your life. In fact, welcome it. Cramer = Drama. Dorian would not have it any other way.
