1998
Todd and Téa decided to make their marriage a real one. Todd framed Bo for murder. Todd hit Téa, but she knocked him out, called the police and had him arrested. Todd pretended to have multiple personalities to stay out of prison. Starr accidentally revealed Todd’s deception at his and Téa’s wedding. Todd left town and Téa filed for divorce.
2000
Todd tried to keep Téa and RJ apart by luring her to Viki’s cabin and convincing her to run away with him. Eventually Téa left him. With Blair’s help, Todd regained control of The Sun from Kelly. Todd fell for Blair again and used Skye to break up her relationship with Max. Todd covered Blair’s tracks when she shot Max.
2001
Max tricked Todd into thinking Blair cheated on him. Todd exploded at his and Blair’s wedding and revealed that Blair shot Max. He later repented and testified at Blair’s trial to get her a temporary insanity defense. Todd followed Blair to Mexico when she fled after learning she was pregnant.Todd delivered Blair’s baby boy and (thinking it was Max’s) told her he was dead before arranging for Paloma and David to give him away. Eventually Blair told Todd that her “dead” son was his child and he brought the baby home, telling her it was an “adopted” child. 2002
When baby Jack developed aplastic anemia, like Starr, Blair learned the truth about Todd’s deception. Todd followed Blair and Sam to Hawaii to kidnap the kids, but was unsuccessful. Todd was stranded for several months on an island. Todd returned to town and surprised Blair in the process of divorcing him. When Blair was threatened by a mob hitman Todd agreed to hide her and the children in his penthouse. Eventually Blair realized that Todd was her only love.2003
Todd saved Blair from the hitman. At Todd and Blair’s wedding, Sam revealed that Todd faked the mob hit to earn Blair’s trust. Blair left Todd again, but began to trust him after her rescued her from Mitch. Todd mysteriously disappeared. Months later, a disguised Todd (played by Trevor St. John) returned to town claiming to be Walker Lawrence, Mitch’s brother. “Walker” took a job at The Sun and began to manipulate Blair. Blair agreed to marry “Walker” just as everyone in Llanview was realizing he was Todd. After their marriage, Blair realized “Walker” was Todd and plotted her revenge.
2004
Blair accused Todd of rape and he was carted off to jail. After a grueling trial, in which past victim Marty testified, Todd was sentenced to 10 years in Statesville Prison. Blair discovered she had a brain tumor which could have affected her judgement, and caused her to wonder if Todd did rape her. That, and the fact that a mistrial was declared, caused Todd to go free.
