The Spauldings Must Go On Page 3

Rick Hearst‘s Alan-Michael saw him through his dark, manipulative and occasionally heroic days (1990-96).
Michael Dietz assumed the role briefly in 1996, and ushered A-M out of town with Lucy (Sonia Satra) in 1997.
The role of Alexandra was created for daytime legend Beverlee McKinsey in 1984. She wreaked havoc — and spread some good — in Springfield until 1992.
Another daytime star, Marj Dusay, assumed the part and played the baroness from 1993 until ’97, and again from 1998-99.
Soap diva Joan Collins‘s run in 2002 as Alex was cut short due to a scheduling misunderstanding. Dusay returned in 2002 and has remained ever since.
