Soap Vet Marj Dusay Dies
Daytime vet Marj Dusay has passed away at the age of 83. She launched her soap career in 1983 on CAPITOL, playing the role of Myrna Clegg through to the show’s 1987 cancellation. From 1987-88 and again in 1991, she appeared on SANTA BARBARA as Pamela Capwell Conrad. Her next daytime home was GUIDING LIGHT, where she succeeded Beverlee McKinsey as Alexandra Spaulding from 1993-97 and 1998-99. From 1999-2002, she played the role of villainous Vanessa Bennett, then was lured back to GL, where she remained from 2002-09, when the show went off the air. A Kansas native, Dusay was also known for her roles on STAR TREK and THE FACTS OF LIFE.
