Stand-Out Scenes

B&B: Katie and Wyatt made up in refreshing scenes that were mature and realistic. Wyatt explained why he broke up with Katie — basically, his feelings were hurt — and they admitted that they want to be together. We can’t wait to see what’s in store for “Watie” next!

DAYS: Well, we know who killed Andre, and while many speculated that Abigail would be the culprit, it was pretty hard to predict she’d have developed multiple personalities and has been running around calling herself “Gabby.” This is a great opportunity for Marci Miller (Abigail) to flex her acting muscles, and for the show to have some fun with this increasingly crazy story.

GH: Maxie putting Nathan’s things in boxes was pretty heartbreaking. It was sweet to see Sam help Maxie out and take a box of mementos to hold for Maxie to look at when she’s ready. The show has done a great job so far of showing how we grieve and cope in the face of tragedy.

Y&R: Sharon and Phyllis are working together to help Nick and expose Chelsea, and it’s been a blast to watch! Portrayers Sharon Case (Sharon) and Gina Tognoni (Phyllis) have great chemistry and the back-and-forth between the two is hilarious. Runner up: Devon turning on Hilary was intense and made us long for the two to get back together again, even if Devon thinks he hates her at the moment.

Things That Made Us Go Hmmm

B&B: Bill turning on Sally made little sense. After everything that went down between them with the Spectra building being blown to bits, why would he go back on his word? If he wants to reconcile with Liam, doesn’t he realize going back on his word to buy a new building for Spectra will alienate him further?

DAYS: If Ciara wanted to keep the secret about Rafe and Hope, perhaps she shouldn’t have discussed it so incessantly with Tripp at the loft where Claire lives, too.

GH: We saw Lucas a few weeks ago when he announced that he and Brad are adopting, and we saw Brad this week talking to Alexis about a possible birth mother. Here’s hoping next we actually get the hubbies together….

Y&R: How did Sharon not hear Chelsea come into Crimson Lights, grab the coffee pot and walk up behind her? Chelsea’s a con woman, not a cat burglar!

Epiphany!

It was great to see GH’s Epiphany again. While she’s never been front-burner, Epiphany is a significant character who has great friendships and relationships with several characters. Hopefully we’ll see more of her in the coming weeks.
