Stand-Out Scenes
B&B: The Katie/Wyatt scenes were really good. Wyatt breaking up with a surprised Katie was equal parts sad and uncomfortable. Let’s hope this fun couple can come back together soon.
DAYS: Eric finally declared his feelings for Jennifer! It was nice to see the typically passive Eric take charge (even if his idea of taking charge was snatching a doughnut from Dr. Shah). Jen held back her smile, which showed how happy she really was to hear Eric say he wanted to be with her.
GH: Maxie and Lulu’s friendship is officially kaput (at least for now). When Maxie railed at Lulu for her part in bringing Faison back to Port Charles and Nathan’s death, the performances from Kirsten Storms (Maxie) and Emme Rylan (Lulu) were superb.
Y&R: Cane and Lily fans got a nice Valentine’s Day gift when the popular couple renewed their vows. The scenes were heartfelt and romantic and just what the Lane fans deserved after months and months of turmoil.
Things That Made Us Go Hmmm
B&B: Thorne sure moves quickly! He already wants a future with Katie, after one kiss….
DAYS: Does Lani have to look sick to her stomach every time she so much as talks to JJ? It’s obvious she’s hiding something, and JJ not noticing makes him look like a fool.
GH: How many more times are Griffin and Kiki going to be caught in a compromising (but innocent) position by Ava? It’s a tired plot device to give Ava and Griffin some conflict, and jealousy is not a good look on Ava.
Y&R: This isn’t a negative per se, but what is going on with J.T.? He was awful to Victoria on Valentine’s Day. We’re genuinely interested to see where this is going, but we hope he doesn’t go all Dr. Jekyll/Mr. Hyde on us!
Snap Out Of It
Someone needs to hand Liam a razor, turn on the lights in his hotel room and remind him that he’s an adult. He’s done nothing but sit in a dark room accepting visitor after visitor for weeks. It’s time to get over it, Liam!
