Stand-Out Scenes

B&B: The Hope For The Future fashion show had great production values and everyone looked fabulous.

DAYS: Theresa’s exit was fast and unexpected, but it was also poignant as we saw that she and Brady still share a lot of love for each other. Kudos to Jen Lilley and Eric Martsolf for nailing Theresa and Brady’s final scenes.

GH: Max Gail (Mike), Maurice Benard (Sonny) and Marc Anthony Samuel (Felix) did bravura work in the wrenching scenes in which Mike failed to recognize his son.

Y&R: Well, we can safely say we didn’t see the J.T. “unmasking” coming. Y&R pulled off a genuinely surprising twist, which is not easy in this day and age!

Things That Made Us Go Hmmm

B&B: Brooke is being a bit irresponsible when it comes to her daughter’s best interests. Knowing how many times Hope has been hurt thanks to Liam and Steffy, should she really be encouraging Hope to fight for Liam?

DAYS: The memorial for Lani and Eli’s baby was touching, but where were Julie and the rest of the Hortons?

GH: Someone really needs to do an audit of Ferncliff. Between orderlies taking bribes from local crime magnates, nurses exacting petty revenge on patients and the poor security, we think the place is in need of some major changes.

Y&R: Devon is a young, hip music producer with a sleek penthouse and… an answering machine?!

Summer Love

Finally, some romance! Good on Y&R for officially getting Mariah and Tessa together. The two have chemistry and rooting value and feel like a proper love story.
