Stand-Out Scenes

B&B: We let out a sigh of relief when Wyatt stopped Liam and Hope’s wedding. This whole engagement has been too rushed, and it was good to see someone come to their senses.

DAYS: The showdown between Eve, Theresa and Brady did not disappoint. Jen Lilley’s return — with Paul Telfer’s Xander in tow — has given that story a welcome dose of drama.

GH: There were explosive confrontations aplenty when the truth about Peter’s identity came about, but Dante’s anger with Lulu made for a particularly potent falling out as he called her out for allowing herself to be duped by her baddie boss.

Y&R: Nikki and Sharon’s discussion (or argument) about Sharon reuniting with Nick was filled with tension and history. And we practically applauded when Sharon put Nikki in her place about repeating old mistakes, e.g. marrying Victor for the “900th time.”

Things That Made Us Go Hmmm

B&B: Why were the Logan sisters all acting like this was Hope’s first wedding? Also, their mother’s jewelry box surely would have gone to Brooke, Donna or Katie before Hope, considering they’ve all had several marriages.

DAYS: Sonny fell for Leo’s lies hook, line and sinker and was stunned that this guy he barely knows tricked him. When Sonny was first introduced, he was a smart, savvy guy; where did he go?

GH: Oh, Griffin, Kiki and Ava. What a mess! Griffin, who has been out of the priesthood for a matter of months, took a mighty long fall off his high horse by sleeping with his lover’s daughter, while Kiki’s bad decision seems poised to undercut whatever measures she may take against Dr. Bensch’s sexual harassment — a real shame given this is one of the few stories soaps have told where an individual has a legitimate claim and isn’t making it up for some nefarious reason. As for Ava, we hated seeing her follow up her self-empowered Nurses’ Ball performance by groveling at Griffin’s door (multiple times).

Y&R: The CEO roulette is a bit much. It seems like every week, either Newman, Jabot or Hamilton-Winters get new upper management. We can only imagine what the business pages in the local papers must be saying about the constant changes!

Slow Your Roll
At what point is B&B’s Bill going to learn that no means no? We get the “Still” connection, but Steffy couldn’t be clearer about now wanting to be with him. Enough already.
