Soap Superlatives
Stand-Out Scenes
B&B: Watching Steffy’s fantasy of her life with Liam and her baby (played by Scott Clifton’s lovely little boy, Ford!) was sweet and sad, considering we all know her world is about to come crumbling down around her.
DAYS: All of Theo’s reunions were touching and emotional, from the loving Chad to the guilty Kate.

GH: How cute were Anna and Finn during the self-defense lesson? Anna and Finn’s attraction has been steadily developing, and they are proving to be equal matches for each other.
Y&R: Victor and Nikki’s vow renewal was fun and charged with tension. We especially enjoyed all of their skeptical children looking on.
Things That Made Us Go Hmmm
B&B: Steffy sure did get those paternity test results back quickly (read: instantly). It would have been more suspenseful to make her wait a while longer.
DAYS: Ciara pressuring Theo to get back together hours after he woke up from a coma was ridiculous. The character needs to show some growth, pronto.
GH: We’re glad Lulu is being featured in story more, but finding a pile of ballots by chance doesn’t exactly make her an investigative journalist. She must be one excellent writer for Peter to give her a staff position, just like that.
Y&R: Scott and Abby aren’t even trying to hide their affair anymore. Their constant fleeting glances are bad enough, but making out at Nikki and Victor’s vow renewal party? Of course they were going to get caught!

History Repeating
The scenes between GH’s Monica and Nelle were clever and made great use of the show’s rich history, with Monica telling Nelle about her being pregnant with A.J. and not knowing who the father was. Nelle was made a little more human in the process, and we got to hear Monica talk about one of the show’s classic storylines.
Chemistry Test
Having B&B’s half-naked Katie thinking she was about to surprise Wyatt, only to open the door to Thorne, was a pretty blatant attempt at testing the waters between the two. Still, the scenes weren’t bad, with Katie opening up to Thorne about being happy the way things are going in her life.
