B&B: The scenes between Bill, Katie and Wyatt were epic! We knew BIll wouldn’t take their surprise engagement well, but ripping off Wyatt’s Spencer necklace, disinheriting him and suing Katie for custody of their child? That was intense, with great performances from Heather Tom (Katie), Darin Brooks (Wyatt) and Don Diamont (Bill).
DAYS: It was comic gold when Vivian met “Gabby” and immediately inquired as to why Abigail was dressed so exotically and wearing a black wig. Now that Viv knows something is very wrong with the latest Mrs. DiMera, there’s bound to be some fun hijinks.
GH: It’s always nice to see Epiphany and Felix, and we enjoyed watching them help get Elizabeth ready for her wedding to Franco. It was especially nice that Liz and Felix took a moment to remember late pal Sabrina.
Y&R: Sharon revealing the truth about Christian’s paternity to Nick was a long time coming, and it was just as heartbreaking and powerful as we expected. We also appreciated the arguments between Sharon and Phyllis, which highlighted the differences between the two women.
Things That Made Us Go Hmmm
B&B: Hope is starting to overstep her boundaries a little. When she discussed with Brooke whether or not she thinks Steffy could be a good wife to Liam, we were asking, “And why is that any of your business?”
DAYS: Does “Gabby” keep an entire wardrobe in the secret tunnels in the DiMera manse? She switches outfits so quickly when the alters come out! And where did Kimberly get photos of her alters for the cover of her book?
GH: We get that Harvey is shady, but he’s also supposed to be slick, so it seemed like a continuity error rather than a deliberate lie when he told Drew one thing about his contact with Betsy (namely, that he had none) and Franco another.
Y&R: Victoria is rapidly losing supporters at Newman. She really needs to take it down a notch with Lily, who’s been a good employee for a long time.
We Love Pharon/Shyllis
They may despise each other, but Y&R’s Sharon and Phyllis make great partners-in-crime! We hope these two women — who are polar opposites — have to work together again in the future.
