15. Robert learned of Anna’s treachery as a double agent for the DVX, but couldn’t bring himself to bring her to justice. As a result, a fellow WSB agent (Swede) took the rap for Anna’s treasonous activities and was wrongly executed for her crimes. Or so they thought: It was later revealed that their boss, Sean Donely, arranged for Robert to “happen” upon Anna’s work for the DVX to break up their marriage, since agents were forbidden to marry. Donely staged Swede’s execution and gave the agent a new identity.
