1988: It was her worst nightmare come true when Felicia got word that Frisco was missing and presumed dead. Around that time, she met newcomer Colton Shore. Colton instantly fell for Felicia, and the pair established a deep friendship. With Sean Donely’s help, Felicia searched for info about her husband’s last days in the WSB. As her wedding anniversary approached, Felicia received a package that Frisco had sent before he disappeared. It was a music box. Unbeknownst to her, hidden inside was a microchip containing valuable data that Frisco had gathered about an international terrorist group. The box was designed to be opened only with Frisco’s wedding ring, which she also received from the WSB. Felicia managed to open the music box, and she received a mysterious message from Frisco: “Beware of Sanctuary.”
With Colton’s help, Felicia located Frisco’s grave in Quebec and managed to put her husband’s death behind her. She and Colton fell in love, and Felicia urged him to get psychiatric help for his disturbing dreams. Through hypnosis, shrink Tom Hardy and Colton learned that Colton had been brainwashed and he was the one who killed Frisco! Felicia overheard the confession and later held him at gunpoint to avenge Frisco’s death. But she couldn’t pull the trigger, and Colton was arrested. Eventually, the truth came out: Colton had actually witnessed the terrorists murdering Frisco, and he was freed. Felicia left town for an around-the-world cruise with Maria.
1989: Upon her return, Felicia reunited with Colton, and they planned to wed. Little did she know that Frisco was alive, well and in town! But he was too late: Felicia and Colton tied the knot before Frisco could reveal to Felicia that he was alive. When she came face to face with her presumed-dead husband, she fainted and, after coming to, scolded him for keeping his whereabouts a secret. Felicia chose to remain with Colton, who was secretly being reprogrammed to kill Frisco. It didn’t work, however. Instead of slaying Frisco, Colton eliminated his terrorist boss, Domino.
Unable to decide between her suitors, Felicia opted to spend time with Grandma in Texas. En route, she stopped in Ohio, met Decker Moss and suffered a bout of amnesia. She claimed to be Decker’s friend Phoebe, and the duo took off on a wild spree of con games. Felicia’s memory returned, but she faked amnesia when Frisco and Colton eventually found her in Puerto Rico because she still hadn’t made up her mind. Back home, Felicia realized that she truly loved Frisco after her life was threatened. 
1990: Felicia and Frisco remarried and honeymooned in Europe. Frisco, who was also a musician, lied to his wife that he would be touring as a rock star, when he was really on a WSB mission. Felicia was abducted by a man named Cesar Faison, who led Frisco and Sean right to her. Afterward, Frisco left the WSB and Felicia discovered that she was pregnant. On Halloween night, Felicia found herself in labor — and accidentally locked out of the Brownstone while dressed as a clown. Frisco mistook Felicia for a burglar when she climbed through the window to get inside, but he quickly figured out that it was his wife. They rushed to the hospital, where Felicia gave birth to a girl named Maria Maximilliana (nicknamed Maxie), after her grandmother.
1991: An earthquake rocked Port Charles, trapping Felicia and baby Maxie in the rubble. Frisco saved his family, but Felicia was temporarily paralyzed. Later that year, Frisco rejoined the WSB and exited yet again. Felicia went to work for Mac Scorpio at his restaurant, The Outback. When Frisco asked her to join him at her grandmother’s ranch in Texas, she departed with Maxie and decided to stay there to be closer to her husband.
