Michael Easton (John) was in the press conference just before ALL MY CHILDREN’s Thorsten Kaye (Zach) and baited the press to quiz Kaye about his role in Shark Attack 2, which allegedly ran on TV at 3 a.m. the night before. (He also took jabs at himself, stating that the scenes of John in his coma were “some of my best work.”)
Grande dame Erika Slezak (Viki) shared, “I love working with Phil Carey [Asa], but I don’t know if he’d say the same. He calls me ‘Miss 7:15’ because I always start rehearsal at 7:15 in the morning and he hates that [laughs]. But he’s always there!”
Forbes March (Nash)’s favorite Disney attraction apparently runs in the family. “Pirates of the Caribbean is my favorite ride,” he enthused. “It’s my daughter’s [Marina] favorite ride. And now we get to ride it three times a day!”
Kathy Brier (Marcie) admitted that she’s an unabashed roller coaster fan: “I love roller coasters. Any roller coaster. I could ride them all day!”
Kamar de los Reyes (Antonio) had a birthday three days before the Florida festivities began, so the crowd regaled him with a lively rendition of “Happy Birthday.” Afterward, he quipped, “Thank you! Now, in Spanish!”
Renee Goldsberry (Evangeline) noted that she doesn’t read spoilers for the show but, “My mom, who lives in Texas, will call me and tell me stuff that I had no idea about regarding the show because she reads the press and stuff on the Internet.”
