Remembering Josh
Beloved Josh Ryan Evans (ex-Timmy) passed away on August 5, 2002 at the age of 20. In a shocking twist, his character, soaps’ first-ever living doll, died on-screen the same day. Here’s a photo tribute to the young man, with a few memories from castmates.
• In 2002, Timmy fantasized about marrying crush Charity (then—Molly Stanton).
• Juliet Mills (Tabitha) and Josh Ryan Evans became close friends while working together. This is at the 3rd Annual PASSIONS Fan Club Luncheon the month before his passing. Mills recalls, “He was a showbiz kid through and through. That’s what he loved more than anything — showbiz. It was a legendary thing to do [to pass away the same day his character died on air]. It was on the news. He made a big bang when he went.”
