Engagements:
Theresa/Ethan: Ethan chose between Theresa and Gwen, and finally popped the question to a thrilled Theresa during Midnight Mass in 2000. Sheridan/Luis: At the flower-filled Crane gazebo, Luis proposed to a delighted Sheridan with his grandmother’s ring in 2001.
“Diana”/”Brian”: When Sheridan was suffering from amnesia and known as “Diana,” she quickly formed a romantic relationship with her rescuer, “Brian,” who was actually Luis’s long-lost brother, Antonio. The two became engaged when he gave her a metal washer instead of a diamond ring in 2002.
Beth/Luis: A desperate Beth asked for Luis’s hand in marriage in 2002. The cop accepted, although he noted that he would have married Sheridan if she were free. 
Gwen/Ethan: Though he was about to propose to Theresa again, Ethan was sidetracked when he learned that Gwen was carrying his child. He reunited with Gwen in 2002 and put a diamond on her finger. 
Whitney/Chad: Chad popped the question to Whitney just before they relocated (briefly) to Los Angeles in 2003 — a year before they learned they were half siblings.
Liz/T.C.: In 2004, Shortly after the ink dried on his divorce papers ending his union with Eve, T.C. asked a thrilled Liz (Eve’s sister!) to be his new wife.
