Pilar urged Luis to move on with his life without Sheridan. Paloma chimed in that Fancy could make him very happy if he gave her a chance. Pilar wondered if it was true that Fancy was interested in Luis. Luis asked Paloma to stop playing matchmaker, but Pilar agreed with her daughter that Luis should give Fancy a chance. Luis said he cared about Fancy but he was still in love with Sheridan. Pilar urged Luis to give himself a chance to find happiness — and give her some grandchildren!
Katherine interrupted Fancy and Sheridan arguing over Luis. Katherine warned that Fancy was only setting herself up for heartbreak and she should find someone else, but Fancy bristled at taking love advice from Katherine, who had run away with a married man. “I love Luis,” Fancy puffed. “Aunt Sheridan has a husband, in case you hadn’t noticed.” Sheridan said that Fancy didn’t understand the situation, but Fancy spat that it was clear that Sheridan still wanted Luis. Katherine urged Sheridan to give love with Luis another chance, but Sheridan sighed that it was too late. Fancy again urged Sheridan to let Luis find happiness with Fancy.
By the time Fox found the alley outside the bridal shop, Kay and Miguel were gone. Ivy found Kay’s clothing and wondered, loudly, why Kay could be running around undressed. A beachcomber told Fox that a girl matching Kay’s description was with a dark-haired, good looking man on the beach. Ivy and Fox agreed that it sounded like Kay was with Miguel. Meanwhile, Kay told Miguel it was too late for them to be a family, but he convinced her to go to the beach with him. Kay was annoyed that Miguel hadn’t realized his love for her years earlier when she was pining for him. Kay and Miguel recalled childhood memories. Kay resisted at first, but she and Miguel began to make love. “Oh my god!” Fox exclaimed when he saw something at the beach.
Ethan flashed back to nearly having sex with Theresa, but realized he had to let her go. Ethan ordered Jared to be good to Theresa or answer to him. Jared assured he wouldn’t hurt her, but reminded Ethan that it was none of his business. Jared asked if Ethan went into the steam room. Ethan admitted that he did but lied that he left when he saw Theresa. Jared blasted Ethan for causing most of the heartache in Theresa’s life. Meanwhile, Spike waited outside the steam room for Theresa to die. Theresa tried to escape, banging on the door and yelling. Afraid that he would be caught, Spike put the valve back on the steam valve and fled. Jared and Ethan heard Theresa’s yelling and burst in to rescue her. As Jared tended to Theresa, she said Ethan’s name.
