While Luis searched for and worried about Fancy on the road, a conflicted Chris realized Spike must have her. Instead of informing Luis and giving himself away, he decided to handle it himself. That wouldn’t have surprised Luis, who was finally got a lead when his cell rang. Too bad it was a false lead. Fancy was in a cave, still blindfolded, tied up and begging Spike to stop undressing her. The shirtless scumbag stopped, but only to continued undressing himself. Sure he was going to rape her, Fancy kneed him in the nuts. He fell back and hit his head, but was quickly back on his feet and then on top of her again. When she spit on him, he got excited and hoped she’d be around for a while. Luckily, Chris’ call pulled him away before he got his pants open. Chris couldn’t convince him to let her go, but he tracked him down in time to interrupt Spike’s manhandling again. He quietly pulled Spike away to ream him. A weakened Fancy called for help, but Spike reminded Chris that Luis was already on his case. He also refused to let her go, because he didn’t know if he’d been seen. When he returned, she’d already gotten free. They chased after her, but as they closed in, she fell down a pit. “I guess we ain’t got nothing to worry about now,” Spike happily told Chris. “There’s no way she could’ve survived that fall. Fancy’s dead, man, and we are in the clear.”
No matter how Fox soothed her, Kay couldn’t stop replaying the “everybody hates me” song (though, thankfully, she stopped short of eating worms). She seemed most upset over Miguel, but then panicked when she realized she’d have to face her mother. When she finally fell asleep, she dreamt of how difficult it would be to convince Grace that she wasn’t “selfish and wicked” anymore. She woke with a start when her mother snarled, “Miguel should be with someone who deserves him. I’m going to go find Charity and bring her right back here to Miguel.” Grace, meanwhile, was storming at Ivy over the phone, warning she’d kill her when she landed back in Harmony. Ivy tried to apologize, but that just made infamously sweet Grace blow her top. Before taking the phone back, Sam told Ivy to be out of his home. Then, after some cooing to his wife, he told Grace about Kay’s involvement. Ivy took pleasure in overhearing that. Grace sounded crushed, but not as angry as Kay expected. WRONG! Grace immediately called her, storming, “It’s too late to be sorry. You are no longer my daughter. You are a heartless monster, and I hate you. I wish I had never given birth to you.”
Gwen and Rebecca wanted to know what JT had on their nemesis and JT said he’d love to tell them…if they paid him more than Theresa had. Beccs sent Gwen out to get be sure Theresa wasn’t around, promising to keep JT “happy.” Gwen prayed the coast was clear and it was, as long as Theresa and Whitney stayed in the bathroom. The best pals were heatedly discussing whether Theresa should finally let all the truths be revealed. Theresa, as always, focused on the worst-case scenarios. Whit made several good arguments for the truth, stressing that no matter the outcome, Little Ethan would “have his father.” When Theresa couldn’t be convinced, an exasperated Whitney finally accused, “You’re giving up a chance of happiness with a man you love for money. You’re letting money come between you and your dream.” Theresa finally saw the light and excitedly set out to set the truth free. She called JT’s cell…and heard it ring! She caught him sneaking out the back way in a “Gwen and Rebecca sandwich” and swore she’d win this round and see the truth revealed.
