At the hospital, a frantic Noah caught Eve up on Fancy’s condition and begged her to help.
Ivy cringed when Sam fed her a liverwurst sandwich and talked about Kay and Fox’s relationship. Their chat was interrupted when Noah called to tell them about Fancy. When Ivy and Sam rushed to leave, Maya begged them to go with them to the hospital. Ivy, Sam and Maya arrived at the hospital. Noah filled them in on the car wreck, and that Fancy’s face has been damaged, especially her eye. Ivy immediately took the blame for not being a good mother. “It was no accident,” Maya mumbled. She explained that he is in danger and Fancy is, too. Maya told him to keep quiet about the night in the attic. Noah had to remind Fancy that a car hit her.
Kay brought Fox cookies to his office. They smooched until Valerie walked in with her letter of resignation. Kay asked Val about her family when she saw pictures in the box she was packing up. Kay told her not to quit, even though she knows she’s been teaming up with Ivy to wreck her relationship with Fox. Kay assured Valerie that she won’t expose her to Fox as long as she keeps out of her love life — and away from Ivy. Val claimed she never like Ivy. Fox returned, and heard the good news that Valerie wasn’t quitting after all. Kay and Fox talked about whether or not she would be working once they got married. Kay said she would still want to work; Fox said he would stay home. Meanwhile, Ivy called Val, who said she didn’t want to get in the middle of Kay and Fox anymore. However, Ivy talked her into still being her spy.
Sheridan was hurt to overhear Chris on a mysterious phone call. She assumed he’s involved with Alistair, and not after her best interests. Sher secretly followed Chris to a park. A group of kids showed up, which made Sheridan hopeful that Marty was in the pack. She saw a blonde boy from the back and hugged him, assuming he was her son. The chaperone demanded Sheridan let the boy go. When she saw the kid’s face, she apologized. Sher lost track of Chris, went back to the hotel and packed her bags. When she walked out the door, Chris was there. She yelled at him and accused him of working for her father. He pushed her back into the room. She pleaded with Chris not to hurt her. In order to explain his secretive behavior, he got on one knee and proposed.
